Dear Sanjana,
Congratulations on your score.
Candidates applying through SCB stream are required to take IISER Aptitude test.
Candidates should have scored marks equal to or above the cut-off percentage declared by Department of Science and Technology. 5% relaxation to OBC(Non- Creamy layer) and PD category. The cut-off for SC/ST candidates is 55% in 10+2.
The Cut-off percentage for Karnataka board declared by DST is 88.0.
You are eligible to attempt IISER Aptitude Test.
All the best.
Candidates will be admitted to IISER only through
1.KVPY
2.JEE
3.State and Central board channel (SCB)
Eligibility criteria :
JEE CHANNEL -should have category rank within 10,000
SCB CHANNEL - should have passed 10+2 level with science stream with marks equal or above the cutoff percentage in their respective boards and have to appear in the IISER Aptitude Test.
As per the statistical data regarding cutoff of IISER for previous years , I must say that your rank will be definitely lie in 2nd or 3rd cutoff , As in 2015 it reached near 1150 so your rank is quite good for opening the door to IISER through KVPY stream.
