HI, Each exam has their own criteria. In JEE MAIN the AIR is considered for general candidates and category rank is considered for reserved candidates so for you OBC category rank will be considered.

Hi, the cutoff for IISER depends on the institute you want admission in along with course you are interested in. Then I can help you with the cutoff of it.

IISER have 7 campuses:

IISER, Mohali
IISER, Pune
IISER, Berhampur
IISER, Kolkata
IISER Thiruvanthapuram
IISER, Tirupati
IISER, Bhopal

IISER Admissions test are conducted for admissions to approximately 1200 engineering seats offered in 5 year dual degree (BS+MS) programmes offered in 7 IISER campuses.

The university will conduct IISER Admissions Aptitude Test for SCB applicants. Admissions through counselling will be conducted for candidates applying through JEE Advanced and Kishore Vaigyanik Protasahan Yojana (KVPY).

Yes, you have to separately apply for IISER application form even though you are applying through JEE Advanced.

The registration dates has been released by the admission committee. The application form of IISER Admissions 2017 will be released on May 22, 2017

It is necessary to fill the Institution choice out of all 7 IISER for admission according to the preferences in the application.

To get admission in IISER you must qualify the JEE Advanced exam & secure a rank within 6000 in CRL.

There are three channels available for admission into IISER: KVPY (Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana), JEE (Indian Institute of Technology JEE Advanced) and SCB (State and Central Boards).

If you have already qualified for KVPY which exam conducted in Nov 2016 or earlier then you can apply for IISER 2017 admission.

You need to fill IISER application form to apply through KVPY channel. deadline of the application form of IISER Admissions 2017 for KYPY applicants is June 12, 2017.


KVPY application form will release in the month of July for this year exam and then you can apply for IISER next year.
