66 MonthsBachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (B.A.M.S) is a full-time five-year 6-month (including internship) undergraduate course offered by the Institute for Teaching and Research in Ayurveda, Jamnagar.
The course aims at providing basic education in Ayurveda leading to the degree of B.A.M.S. It aims at preparing graduates of profound scholarship in the science of Ayurveda having basic and fundamental knowledge in different subjects of Ayurveda backed up by extensive practical training. He should become an efficient teacher, a research scholar and a competent Ayurvedic physician (Kayachikitsaka) and surgeon (Shalyachikitsaka) to be able to contribute his mite in the medical and health services of the Country.
Duration: 5½ years (Including one-year internship)

Eligibility Criteria
- Eligibility: Must have passed higher secondary school certificate examination after 12 years of schooling with physics, chemistry and biology subjects.
- Qualifying age: Must have completed 17 years as on 31st December of year of admission to the main course & Not more than 45 years.
- Medium of Instruction: English for Foreign Nationals.
Admission Details
Admission to U.G. college is monitored centrally by Govt. of India through a central admission committee on the basis of merit at the qualifying examination each year in June – July. To get admission in BAMS course in our college, the advertisement for the admission will be published by admission committee of Govt of India. in the newspaper & submit your application according to the advertisement.
For International students course fee as per AYUSH description on first come first serve basis.
