About JIS University, Kolkata
JIS University, established in 2015 through a Legislative Act by the Government of West Bengal, forms an integral part of the JIS Group Educational Initiatives. JIS Group, which commenced its educational journey 24 years ago, has now evolved into Eastern India's largest educational conglomerate, comprising 37 institutions, 170 programs, and a student body of 39,000.

The University is guided by a mission to secure a prominent position among India's top-notch universities, aiming to be the preferred choice for students, research scholars, and faculty members alike. Ya the college has necessary equipments and facilities for the students and teaching purposes , the college provides all the basic and advanced facilities like wifi , advanced kitchen etc whatever is needed and comes to mind it's all there.

Yes my college does have all the necessary equipments and facilities. Our college have a huge campus in which we have a basketball court as well as volleyball court. Our college also provides us with the fecelity of wifi. And very importantly our college is very clean and hygienic

in general to take admission in one year diploma in criminology candidate has to pass 10 + 2 class examination with any of the streams art, Science and commerce. this is a one year diploma course it can be done through distance mode of education also. Its fees vary from 5000 to 20000 in total. After completion of the course candidates can get decent salary jobs that vary from 15000 to 20000 per month.
After doing civil engineering doing 1 year course is possible such a candidate can do MSc criminology which is the combination of criminology and forensic science and of 2 years course. After completion of the course candidate can get the job like criminal analysists, private detectors, social worker, fire investigation officer, in private or government sector job. The job like criminal detection, loss prevention officer, forensic technician, forensic psychologist. After completion of the course the salary of 3.50 lacs to 4. 50 lacs per annum.
