Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Computer Science and Engineering is a four-year full-time undergraduate program, and the course will be approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and offered by JIS University, Kolkata.

Eligibility Criteria

The student has passed the 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies. Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to the reserved category) in the above subjects taken together. OR Passed Diploma (in Engineering and Technology) examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) subject to vacancies in the First Year, in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted.

College Infrastructure

The college infrastructure is well maintained and provides a comfortable environment for learning. The campus has spacious classrooms, well-equipped laboratories, a library with useful academic resources, computer labs with internet access, Wi-Fi in selected areas, clean washrooms, and a cafeteria. The campus is safe, and the overall infrastructure supports both academic activities and extracurricular development, making it a good place for students.

College Infrastructure

JIS University has the necessary infrastructure, facilities, and equipment. Classrooms are fitted with smart boards and are well-maintained. Laboratories, libraries, sports centers, and hostels are also well maintained. Though, they all are used very frequently. Living spaces are also well clean and the food is hygienic.
