KVAFSU is a Public university in the Bidar district of Karnataka. The university was established in 2004, and as the name suggests it was formed with an aim to promote education in the field of Veterinary, Animal and Fisheries Science education. Since its Operations, KVAFSU has accomplished many achievements.
Karnataka Veterinary, Animal and Fisheries Sciences University Bidar has a strong emphasis on practical training and research, to ensure that the students get an in-hand experience in their respective fields, and is considered one of the best Universities in Karnataka. KVAFSU is affiliated to the Veterinary College Gadag. There are 15 Colleges and Institutes under the University of Karnataka Veterinary, Animal and Fisheries Sciences University (KVAFSU), spread across Karnataka.
