The Veterinary College, Hebbal is an institution dedicated to veterinary education and animal healthcare. Established on July 25th, 1958, by the then Chief Minister of Karnataka, Shri B.D. Jatti. Veterinary College, Hebbal, aims to make veterinary education responsive to the growing needs of society in general and the aspirations of livestock farmers in particular.
Veterinary College, Hebbal offers undergraduate, postgraduate and Doctoral programmes in various disciplines including Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry (VSc & AH) programmes. The courses include B.V.Sc, M.V.Sc and PhD programmes. Admission to Veterinary College B.V.Sc is based on the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) and the AIEEA-PG exam is considered for the Master’s degree Programme conducted by NTA-ICAR. Veterinary College, Hebbal is a constituent college of the Karnataka Veterinary Animal and Fisheries Sciences University (KVAFSU), Bidar.
