36 MonthsDoctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Animal Nutrition is a full-time three-year postgraduate course offered by the Karnataka Veterinary, Animal and Fisheries Sciences University, Bidar.
Eligibility Criteria
The candidates should possess a Master's Degree in the respective subjects.
- Candidate should have an OGPA of 6.50/10 or equivalent percentage of marks for the general category and 6.00/10 or equivalent OGPA/equivalent percentage of marks for SC/ST/Cat-I/ candidates at the Master’s degree level.
Admission Details
Selection for the Doctoral degree program will be done based on the student’s performance in a Master's degree program and a written test conducted by the University. The written test for admission will contain 100 objective-type questions with four responses. Due weightage is also given to those students who have research publications, won medals in academics, sports, and cultural activities, passed in ICAR/CSIR-SRF/ NET examinations, and those students who are physically handicapped / Anglo-Indians / Scouts & Guides / Children of Ex-Servicemen / Defence personnel.
