24 MonthsMaster of Science in Biotechnology is full time two year Postgraduate Science Department course degree offered by Kavayitri Bahinabai Chaudhari North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon.
Eligibility Criteria
- A candidate is considered to be eligible for admission to the post graduate course if he/she has secured at least 50% (or equivalent CGPA) marks at graduation (45% marks for backward class i.e. SC/ST/DT/NT/OBC/SBC/SEBC category candidates from Maharashtra state).
- B.Sc. Biotechnology If seats remain vacant, candidates with (Microbiology/ Biochemistry / Botany / Zoology/Chemistry with any group subject as subsidiary) will be considered for admission on equal basis.
Admission Details
- The Selection is based entirely on the candidate's percentage of marks obtained at the graduation, preferences given by the candidate and availability of the seats.
- For admission to all the three M.Sc. programs, an advertisement is published in some leading newspapers in the month of May / Jun every year. The prescribed application forms are available on the on the website. The application procedure is centralized for all Post Graduate courses run on University campus. The application needs to be filled online and hard copies to be submitted at the Office of School of Life Science. The admission procedure is quite transparent. Information brochure, provisional and final merit lists, schedule of spot admission, list of final allotments, etc. will be displayed at University website as per schedule.
