Kerala Agricultural University, Thrissur Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

Since the KAU Thrissur undergraduate and graduate programmes are residential  in character, hostel accommodations are offered to legitimate students unless they are  excluded due to living with their parents or guardians. The boys are being accommodated at Pamba Men's Hostel.

 UG girls are housed at the hostel Harsha, whereas PG girls are housed in the hostel Haritha. The distance between both and the college is 200 metres. With more guestrooms to accommodate visitors, the hostels have spacious facilities. More than 100 individuals can eat at once in hygienic mess halls.

The University Central Library was established in 1995 with the KAU Thrissur Act of 1971. The Kerala Agricultural University Library and Information System consists of the University Central Library as well as seven campus libraries and research stations spread across Kerala.

Department-based laboratories are available for students to conduct experiments in their respective fields. The labs are equipped with the latest equipment and technology to ensure that students get hands-on experience in their chosen field of study.

KAU Thrissur has an excellent IT Infrastructure facility for the students. The campus is equipped with high-speed internet connectivity, and the computer labs are equipped with the latest software and hardware.

The college provides ample sports facilities for students to engage in physical activities and sports. The facilities include a playground, basketball court, volleyball court, and indoor games like table tennis and chess.

The KAU Thrissur is equipped with a health centre that offers essential first aid services to students, ensuring their well-being and immediate medical attention when required.

The university has a cafeteria with a wide range of items available at a reasonable price. The campus serves delicious and well-balanced nutrition and a vegetarian and non-vegetarian diet.
