i) For School of Sanskrit Studies:

The student should have passed the Graduate with Major Honours in Sanskrit, securing at least 40% marks from any recognized University

Or,

Graduated with Sanskrit as a subject in the previous course with a minimum of 45% marks from any recognized University

Or,

Qualifying in the Shastri (equivalent to a bachelor's degree)examination from any recognized University will be considered

ii) For School of Humanities:

Graduate with Major/Honours in the concernedsubjectsecuringatleast40%marksfrom any recognized University.

N.B.: Candidates who have appeared/are appearing in the UG Final Semester Examination are eligible to apply, subject to fulfilling the eligibility criteria at the time of Admission.
