24 MonthsMaster of Performing Arts (MPA) in Theatre is a full-time two-year postgraduate course offered by theMahapurusha Srimanta Sankaradeva Viswavidyalaya, Nagaon.
Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates who have passed B.P.A. (Bachelor of Performing Arts) or B.A. (Performing Arts) from any recognized University.
- Graduates of any stream having a Certificate/Diploma in any theatre/acting from any recognized institute/institution of repute are eligible to appear in the entrance test.
- Graduates of any stream having previous experience, Certificate/Proof of a minimum of three theatre productions, as well as experience in theatre workshops, are eligible to appear in the entrance test.
Admission Details
- The selection of the candidates for admission shall be made on the basis of the entrance test conducted by the department.
The entrance test will consist of the following procedures-
⦁ Written Examination: 50 marks (MCQ)
⦁ Viva Voce on the performance presented by the candidate: 50 marks
