Eligibility Criteria
Must have passed class XII (or equivalent) Board examination with a minimum of five subjects and secured at least 75% aggregate marks. The aggregate marks for SC, ST and PwD candidates should be at least 65%.
Admission Details
- Admission to the B. Tech program in the Institute is based on the JEE (Main) examination and through the counseling conducted by Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) for B. Tech Admissions.
- 50% seats for the Home States and 50% seats for other States; For home state quota State Reservation Policy for admissions are followed and admissions for the rest are as per Central Reservation Policy for admissions
- Counseling: Through Central Counselling (JoSSA) based on JEE (Main) score. After JEE results are out, eligible candidates register at the JoSAA website. Candidates mention their preference (Choice filling) of Institutes/programs while registering at JoSAA. Candidates visit nearby resource/Help center.
- Candidates are finally allotted seats by JoSSA.
- Once the seat allocation is done, students visit the respective allotted Institute within the dates mentioned by JoSSA for admission failing which the admission stands withdrawn. Follow the admission process of the Institute where you are allotted.

In this college, Wi-Fi, hostel room, laboratory are good. In rooms sometimes network comes good most of times it is good. Hostel rooms are costly that other NITs and but North Indian mess are good. The campus area is very large so, students will enjoy games a lot.

Classes are very spacious, well maintained, are well ventilated. Our department is well equipped with modern technology machines and highly knowledgeable staff. Hostel is good and clean. The food is fine. Medical facility is excellent. Sports center is greatly managed and well equipped.

College Infrastructure
It is running in Laithmukhrah,Shillong Since 2013 as It's Permanent Campus is under Construction in Cherrapunji .The hostels are well equipped with various kinds of facilities like TV room,Sports room etc. and also Wi-Fi Facility available at every hostel.Access to digital Library Facility is also given to us. There are different laboratories for each departments. All Classes has smart boards.Hygienic Food provided by Mess and It checked by Warden. All places of campus are neat and clean.
