Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Electronics and Communication Engineering is a four-year full-time undergraduate program offered by Nirma University, Ahmedabad.

Eligibility Criteria

The Candidate must have passed the qualifying Class XII (Science) Examination from a single recognized board with the minimum percentage of marks as prescribed by the Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC, GoG)/AICTE, as may be amended from time to time.

For NRI Candidate:

The candidate who has passed the qualifying examination from the schools located abroad are exempted from appearing in the JEE (Main)-2025. For NRI-Sponsored Candidate For NRI-Sponsored Candidate Candidate will have to produce equivalence certificate of qualifying examination from Association of Indian Universities (AIU), New Delhi.

The candidate who has NRI status but passed the qualifying examination from a school located in India, must appear for the JEE (Main) 2025.

Admission Details

1. State Quota Seats-ACPC (33% of total intake)

Admissions to these seats can be secured through the Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC, GoG). Candidate must apply to ACPC, GoG, separately

2. All India Seats (52% of total intake)

Admissions to these seats are filled-in by the Institute. Candidates must register and apply online on the admission portal separately. These seats shall be filled from the candidates who have passed the qualifying examination from the schools located in India (including Gujarat State) and secured an All India Rank in Paper-I of JEE (Main) 2025.

Selection Procedure : The Merit will be prepared based on the All-India Rank (CRL) in Paper-I of the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) 2025, which is conducted by the National Testing Agency, Government of India.

3. NRI / NRI-Sponsored Seats (15% of total intake) : Candidate must separately fill-up the online application form on the admission portal.

Selection Procedure For NRI Candidate : The merit list will be prepared based on the candidate’s performance in the qualifying examination.

For NRI-Sponsored Candidate : Candidate must have passed the qualifying examination from the schools located in India (including Gujarat State) and secured an All India Rank in Paper-I of JEE (Main) 2025 examination.

NRI Sponsored candidates must produce a sponsorship letter from an NRI, who will furnish an undertaking to pay all tuition and other fees for the entire degree program.

Documentary proof of the Sponsor's NRI status must be provided at the time of admission.
