72 MonthsDoctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) is an offered Full-time three/six-year Doctoral program and it is offered by North Eastern Hill University, Shillong. Ph.D. program shall be for a minimum duration of three years, including course work and a maximum of six years. Extension beyond the above limits will be governed by the relevant clauses as stipulated in the Statute/Ordinance of the individual Institution concerned.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidate who has passed M.Tech. in Nanotechnology/ Biochemical/ Biomedical/Biotechnology/ Chemical/ECE/Energy/ Metallurgical Engineering or M.Sc. in Nanoscience & Nanotechnology/ Physics/ Chemistry/ Material Science/ Biotechnology having 55% marks or equivalent CGPA (relaxable by 5% for SC/ST candidates). GATE/NET qualified candidates will be given preference.
