Hello aspirant,

I hope you are doing well and good.

It all depends on you

Commerce is not a bad stream as people here define it

I

But changing from science to commerce after 11th would be hectic because by that time, a lot of syllabus would have been covered.

But, if you really want to do commerce, do it. Its fun!l

Hello student

The eligibility criteria for joining Expert PU College , Mangalore is that the student should have passed the Karnataka School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) examination or an equivalent examination recognized by the Dept. of Pre University Education, Karnataka for the purpose of admission to the Pre-University Course.

The Merit list of PU CET(UG) is prepared by using the following formula:
25% of 10+2 + 75% of PU CET marks
In order to secure admission, you need to get around 250 marks in PUCET and 90% marks or above in 10+2.
If you have the above mentioned marks, then you will have a chance to get admission in the main campus of PU.
The high marks requirements is due to low number of seats. There are 40 seats in each stream in main campus and around 3000 students get qualified in PU CET so the competition remains high.

See both the fields are great and have job opportunities ahead. But BSc Agriculture itself isn't that good from a job perspective. To get a job through this path you need to atleast go for a Masters. So if you wish to go for Agriculture then its better to go for the BTech Agricultural Engineering. Now if you are interested in research and want to do explore the field then BSc Agriculture is a very good stream for you. In BTech CSE you have a lot of scope with high to moderate paid salaries. So you can go for it also. In general both the fields are good but you have to choose the fields based on your interest enthusiasm and your future targets.
