- For deputed candidate – Graduation with honours and working experience as a full-time salaried staff in any Govt./ Govt. aided Libraries/recognized institution (Govt. or Semi Govt.).
- For Certificate holders in Library Science: Graduation with honours with a certificate in Library Science.
