B.Sc Yoga Hons - Batch of 2028-01-01
Academics
The Yoga course provides a good combination of practical training and theoretical knowledge.the course could give more importance to modern Yoga therapy, practical fieldwork, internships and professional skills. More exposure outside the classroom would help students understand real work situations.
College Infra
Visva-Bharati has a large and naturally beautiful campus with a calm atmosphere. The Yoga department has suitable spaces for practical classes, along with access to library, sports and other university facilities.not everything feels modern. Some equipment and facilities could be upgraded, and maintenance can sometimes be slow.
Campus Life
Students can participate in sports, cultural programmes, Yoga activities and seminars. At the same time, administrative work can sometimes be slow, and hostel or internet-related problems may create inconvenience.
Placements
Placement is probably one of the weaker areas of the course. The university should bring more organisations for recruitment and provide stronger career guidance.Internships and regular interaction with working Yoga professionals would also help students build confidence and understand the job market better.
Value For Money
Considering the academic environment and comparatively affordable university education, I feel the course provides reasonable value for money.
