Burdwan university is a very good state university with a wide variety of subjects study there and many degree courses are available. The overall university building of golapbag campus is very good and each department have there sufficient separate building. But the departments at the rajbati campus are not well developed and have no such h infrastructure and my dept is one of them

Since the department is new it have no teaching faculty of its own and have a little la which is not sufficient for the course. Teachers of other departments take classes and lab works are done in labs of other departments. But the teachers are very good and taught the lessons very good that are helpful for the students.

University have a very good placements for most of the departments and the new departments are also trying there best for having campusing in different industrial fields. But proper placements is not available for this department so far

The cost of the other courses are generally ok for every family but the applied courses including these course have certainly high. But concession us also available so one can run the courses with certain financial difficulties for needy.

Campus of the university is very big, and full of greennaries. There is a little pond in the middle of the campus and central library is also present . The teachers and students of the university together maintain a friendly relation with each other.

Labs and Classrooms are well-equipped and clean. It includes Central Library and personal Departmental Library only for physics ( same as other).It has both departmental and central canteens, provides free Wi-Fi across the whole campus.

Academics in physics are strong. The department of physics is supported by highly experienced faculty members. I particularly appreciate AR Sir for his teaching of Statistical Mechanics and Python programming and AC sir for his exceptional clarity and depth in Atomic and Molecular Physics.

I do not have insights into other department, however for physics, students are generally required to qualify examinations like CSIR-NET and GATE to pursue higher academic research or to secure positions in the public sector related to physics.

It is undoubtedly great value for money to obtain a master's degree in physics.

Two unforgettable years after finishing my school.

Burdwan University is situated in an old building. There are facilities to use the stairs to go upside. There are drinking water taps and proper clean washrooms. The classrooms have the smart boards but most of the classes are going on the White Board. Everywhere there are security guards.

The students of Burdwan University are really attracted to the teaching technique of the professors. The professors are very friendly and helpful. The syllabus will be covered previously by the university professors.

The students of Burdwan University are satisfied with the placement. There are some faults of the University which should be noticed by the authority. In conclusion, the university provides the job to the merit students.

Big college with good infrastructure along with broad corridors, large classrooms. Besides, it also accommodates with big library and old buildings. Well-maintained labs with good faculties. The campus is fully covered by CCTV cameras.

Bardhhaman college offers wide range of courses according to our career options. The professors teachs with activities, games. Practical are more actively done for better understanding and experiences.

Bardhhaman University is not able to provide sufficient jobs to the students. The University claims that they are looking forward to this matter. Local companies like Great Eastern, Bazaar Kolkata, hires interns .

College infrastructure is really good and has all the necessary equipments, libraries present. The laboratories are clean, hygienic and well maintained. The classrooms are also well maintained and the canteen serves hygienic food.

I studied bachelor's in Environmental Science here. The curriculum was updated enough so that it was easier for me to study for my master's exam. The practical curriculum was really interesting and we had a lot of hands on experience.

There are no placements here in any science subjects, or any subjects per se which I think should not be the case anymore. The college needs to think about placements or atleast placement oriented courses.

My course costed around ten thousand rupees per year, and I would say the money was worth it, except for the fact there was no placement or no guidance as in where to apply next, not for masters, but the companies.

My experience in this college was good as I got a lot of friends and great teachers that were largely helpful. We had a lot of fun both inside and outside the campus. The teachers also guided us throughout our three years course.

Since my time my college had great infrastructure and well equipments and facilities for the betterment of the students. Well equipmented libraries, classrooms,laboratories were present. They didn't have wifi during those time but this has built up now

Highly educated faculties are hired by the college with great long term experience. They provide all the necessary details required by the students for the better future of the students. They also support curriculum activities

Placements are average and average number of students are placed every year. From my time ,now the system has grown and better companies comes to hire from our students now. Average salary packages were provided.

Provides an well maintained library since i was in collage. More facilities are available now for the betterment of the students. It consists of all necessary equipment and facilities required for completion of selected degrees by the students

I was passionate about gaining knowledge on history do i took admission and it was really a good decision to choose this university as it provides highly educated faculties and teaching staffs. Well developed curriculum is present.

Average number of students get placed every year. It provides an Average quality of placement package with average number of students getting qualified for job. But the knowledge gained is definitely helpful and help to grow better in life.

My college life was great

In my time there were only required facilities present but now with more passing days infrastructure and facilities are improving qhich provides more opportunities for students to growth in different fields. Well maintained libraries were maintained during my collage days.

They provide well educated faculties with great experience and knowledge which help the students to gather more knowledge in their field of interest. They also provide circular activities and help becoming more social with each other.

They do provide placement but the placement system is not up to the mark. Average quality of package is provided with Average salary. About 60% students get placed. College is supportive with placement process.

It is definitely worth every penny

The college infrastructure is very good. Facilities are excellent in all classes. Wi-Fi is also available for work. There are many books in the library for us to read. There is a very good hostel arrangement for those who are studying at our college from far away. Eating and canteen facilities are all very clean. There are many sports and games available. There are also medical facilities for those who are sick.

Teachers are very helpful. They always try their best to teach us despite the limited time. The course curriculum covered everything possible. It provides good knowledge about every aspect of the subject. Semester exams are good. The questions are always based on the subject matter taught to us in class by teachers.

College does not provide any placements for students but arranges national-level workshops. Thirty-five percent of students were placed in our course. Top recruiting companies include TCS, Wipro, Infosys, etc. Around 40% of students got their internships through workshops.

Good college.

Being one of the prominent universities in west bengal, University of Burdwan has all kinds of infrastructure facilities and equipments. In the classes projectors, and white and blackboards are there. The library is good and well maintained. It has separate hostel for boys and girls but I never been to the hostel that's why I don't know about that much.

I have completed my masters of science in pure mathematics from this university after finishing my bachelors from Bolpur College. The teachers are good but the quality of teaching is not up to the mark. The world curriculum is good and it focuses on different aspect areas of mathematics and research.

I have studied masters of science in mathematics and specially for that department there is no search placement like things. But I have heard from others that a placement sale is there which helps students. Aur college is supportive but they are slow in process.

The course fee for MSc mathematics is approx 5000 per year. It is a government university. And I do feel that my money got worth because of the quality education and other facilities.

College campus is very good. It is a historical place. Beautiful gardens lake old architectures buildings are here. There are a few cultural activities happen here where students can engage in. The overall location is safe.
