This course deals with the study of general aspects concerning plant life. Aspirants who successfully complete this course will have a promising career ahead. This programme includes both classic and applied subjects. Programme learning outcomes are met through various academic activities such as classroom learning laboratory practice outstation excursions infield learning research projects and so forth. This programme serves as a basis for further studies such as MSc. PhD, M.Phil as well as other degrees.
Bachelor of Science graduates has numerous higher study options available. These graduates can do numerous certifications as well. They have numerous career opportunities in several areas. They can work in several job profiles. Good remuneration is also offered for these graduates.

Eligibility Criteria
The candidates who are appearing in the respective qualifying examination prescribed for eligibility for admission to a particular program of study are considered eligible for appearing in the entrance examination. However, in the event of their selection they are granted admission subject to their securing the prescribed percentage of marks in the qualifying examination and submission of all documents including final mark sheet of the qualifying examination. The SC/ST. and Physically Challenged (Handicapped) candidates who have passed the qualifying examination irrespective of their percentage of marks are eligible to appear in the Entrance Examination.

Admissions in all courses which are offered by the University will be done As per Merit basis based on marks of qualifying examination, who are eligible (fulfill the eligibility as per criterion) and shall be done strictly according to it. The admission procedure will be completed before the commencement of the academic session or the last date of the admission decided by the Academic Council.
