24 MonthsAdvance Diploma in Buddhist Studies is a full-time two years duration course and it is offered by Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune.
Eligibility Criteria
Minimum passed Advanced Certificate course in Buddhist Studies or equivalent course in Buddhist Studies. b) Passed XII/H.S.C. Examination with Sanskrit/Pali/Chinese/Tibetan as one subject.
Admission Details
- Admission to all Post Graduate level Certificate, Diploma and MA Courses will be done through an Entrance Examination.
- Candidates having graduated in Pali / Sanskrit / Prakrit/ Buddhist Studies are exempted from the entrance examination for M. A. courses.
- Candidates having Higher Diploma in Pali / Sanskrit / Prakrit/ Buddhist Studies which is equivalent to graduation are also exempted from the entrance examination for M. A. courses.
- However, candidates having graduated with Pali / Sanskrit / Prakrit/Buddhist Studies only as optional papers are NOT exempted from the M. A. entrance examination.
