Don't worry about the college or university go check infrastructure and placement offers in a affiliate college of Sri Venkateswara University. If not you will lose reimbursement then u need to join in management.
Hi Sriram,
Based on your rank and profile in APICET, it is highly unlikely for you to get a seat in Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University - [JNTU], Kakinada and Sri Venkateswara University - [SVU], Tirupati, since as per past year records the closing rank for these colleges is around 500-600. However, there is a 50-50% chance that you may get Andhra University - [AU], Visakhapatnam based on your rank.
Hope this helps. All the best.
Hi Candidate,
As you have secured a high rank it is not possible for you to secure a seat in SVU engineering college as the cut off rank of SVU engineering college for CSE for BC-b is 4700. I would suggest you to use the college pedictor to make your search for engineering colleges easier.

Hi
The answer to your query depends upon certain criterias like the number of years a person has been residing in the area, the consecutive years for which he ha sbeen studuing in that area . Well the SVU region is a local region, but the candidate's local or non- local status depends on the above guidelines of ts eamcet.
The following is the direct link to access these guidelines for a residents' status:

Hope this helps!!
Very bad infrastructure no basic laboratory equipments, all equipments are only allowed to use by staff, as of July 2024 laboratories are under construction, maybe it is developed in upcoming years...
Sri Venkateswara University, established in 1954, is known for its expansive campus in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh. The university provides a variety of facilities, including well-equipped classrooms, a comprehensive library, and dedicated spaces for extracurricular activities. However, some areas of the campus may benefit from further modernization.
This college is located in the middle of city. We have the emergency medical services. All the necessary infrastructure and facilities are there. Wifi, smart boards, geysers, acs are a few of them. Hostel food is very delicious.
