Hello Ravi! Congrats on your cut off! Yes, you have high chances of getting B.Sc Agri in one of the 15 colleges of TNAU. However, your chances of getting a seat at TNAU Coimbatore is less because of high competency. You might still get other courses like Horticulture and Sericulture at the main campus. You might get B.Sc Agri at TNAU Tirunelveli, TNAU Madurai, Pudukottai and many others.

Most probably chances are very less. Anna University ceg campus, mit, thirucharapalli campus will have the maximum number of competitions. But still you can get Anna University affiliated colleges. Because the starting cutoff would be from 199/200  and closing cutoff would be around 150 for anna university main campuses. You can give a try and it may even turn fruitful, it is never wrong to give a try. If not try for affiliated colleges where you will definitely get a seat. There are some caste reservation for each and every college go through that and apply for that. So you can definitely get a good college. All the best, do well. Hope this answer was helpful.

Hello aspirant! The online application for TNAU got over on October 5, 2020. The rank list was said to be released on October15,2020. Congratulations on your cut off of 173.5. It's a good score but you won't be getting B.Sc Agriculture at the main TNAU campus, Coimbatore. You still have chances to get a seat at the 15 constituent government colleges and 28 affiliated private colleges.

the cutoff for obc varies from 180 - 190 every year. but when it comes to oc, you will be expected a greater cutoff like 190+. apparently you have only 154.5. so, you have very very less chance or no chance. If there are some vacancy and nobody has applied, then you might have a chance of admission.

So, i would say, get to college and ask them directly.

Hi Subaashan, the chances are less to get admission in bsc agriculture seat in tnau with your cutoff. The good colleges for agriculture expect the cutoff between 175 and 199 out of 200. For each category the cutoff also varies. It may change year by year. Don't loss hope, you can try for other courses.

As per the previous years records, if you belong to Bc category then 190 marks would keep you on the safe side. And if you belong to any other category then marks between 170-195 would help you secure a good seat for bsc agriculture, however other seats except agriculture requires comparatively less marks. Also, kindly note that trend changes every year so cutoff may vary.

With a cut off of around 164 in bc category, it is almost impossible to procure a seat in the TNAU comparing the trends of past years. Also you should have a cut off as high as 190 or above to secure a seat in an agricultural universities.
