72 MonthsPh.D. program in Civil Engineering shall be for a minimum duration of three years, including course work and a maximum of six years. Extension beyond the above limits will be governed by the relevant clauses as stipulated in the Statute/Ordinance of the individual Institution concerned and offered by The Assam Kaziranga University, Jorhat.
Eligibility Criteria
A Master’s degree in Civil Engineering equivalent, with a minimum of 60% marks (55% in case of Full-Time Sponsored candidates with a minimum of three years professional experience, and SC/ST candidates) at Master’s level or a Master’s Degree in Science/Humanities with a minimum of 55% marks (50% in case of Full-Time Sponsored candidates with a minimum of three years professional experience, and SC/ST candidates).
Admission Details
Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in KUEST conducted by the University followed by a personal interview. Candidates who have cleared NET-JRF/LS of CSIR-UGC/GATE/GPAT cleared in the last 2 years in the relevant subject shall be exempted from KUEST. They will however required to appear for the Personal Interview.
