MA English at Vignan's Foundation for Science Technology and Research, Guntur Offline Course

• The goal and mission of the MA English programme is to prepare students for a host of career avenues, among them teaching, publishing and editing, and virtually any career that asks for clarity of thinking and expression.
• Through the core English curriculum, students will gain a solid foundation in writing and presentation skills, literary traditions and pedagogical practices for teaching English in the Indian ESOL context.
• In fulfilling the requirement for their degree, students will explore a host of writing techniques and theories of journalistic and business reporting through study of literary texts, media documents facilitated through short assignments.
• While pursuing their final semester projects, students will learn how to do a referencing/bibliographic study to explore existing scholarship for writing well-argued papers/dissertations, which will enable them to integrate their own reading of literary and general text(s) with those already published.
