60 MonthsThis five-year long program leads up to the award of the B. Arch. degree. It equips students with the competencies necessary for being effective professional architects and exposes them to the aesthetic, technical, social, political and ethical dimensions of the built environment. Though the B. Arch degree is sufficient for professional registration with the CoA, many architects pursue postgraduate and doctoral studies. When doing this, one can continue focusing on architecture, concentrate on fields such as architectural conservation or urban design or shift to allied professions such as urban planning or construction management.
Eligibility Criteria
A candidate must have passed an examination at the end of the 10 + 2 scheme with 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and also 50% marks in aggregate of the 10 + 2 level examination from any State board or its equivalent in CBSE/CISCE/NIOS/IB or passed 10+3 Diploma Examination with Mathematics as compulsory subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate from Technical Board of Gujarat or any other state or from a college/university established under Section 3 of UGC Act 1956.
Note: Additionally the student will have to meet the minimum qualifying marks for the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) test as per Council of Architecture.
Admission Details
Admission Procedure (All India Category seats)
For the candidates who are eligible for admission, sum of 50 percentage weightage of the aggregate marks of all subjects of the qualifying examination (HSC examination) and the 50 percentage weightage of the valid NATA score obtained in the National Aptitude Test in Architecture shall be the merit marks for the Bachelor of Architecture Course.
Online admission offer will be sent to the candidates as per the merit rank through the registered email id of the candidate. The candidate shall be prepared to pay the fees in 2-3 working days after receiving the online offer.
Admission Procedure (ACPC, GoG seats)
