Eligibility Criteria

Passed 10+2 examination of CHSE, Odisha or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the subjects from Chemistry / Biology / Biotechnology / Technical Vocational Subject / Electronics / Computer science / Information Technology / Geology / Statistics. The candidate should have passed individual subject and must have obtained at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST category) in the above subjects taken together.
Lateral Entry- Candidates must have passed three-year diploma examination (two years in case of Lateral entry Diploma) in Engineering/ Technology from State Council of Technical Education and Training (SCTE&VT), Odisha or from an AICTE approved Institute/ from a recognized University as defined by UGC with at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST category) in appropriate branch of Engineering/ Technology.

Admission Details

For admission into the 1st year, B.Tech programme a student has to appear for Joint Entrance Examination (JEE-Main) conducted by CBSE. For details visit www.jeemain.nic.in. As it stands now, Govt. of Odisha is not going to conduct OJEE, hence JEE (Main) entrance is the only roadway to take admission into 1st year B.Tech Programmes offered by us. Exams shall be held online or offline as per the choice of the student.

JEE (Main) authorities shall publish two merit lists. One all India merit list the other for Odisha state candidates only. 70% of the seats shall be filled up in Govt. of Odisha counselling, taking students from the Odisha merit list. Around 25% of the seats shall be open for all India merit list, where students of Odisha and pan India can compete.

yes my college have a good infrastructure specially the library area and all the equipments are good. most of the classrooms have Acs and good ventilation hostel is average and wifis are also available there.

College Infrastructure

GITA Autonomous College, Bhubaneswar, offers decent infrastructure with well-maintained classrooms, laboratories, and libraries. The campus is spacious, with adequate facilities like hostels and sports areas. However, some amenities require upgrades, and Wi-Fi connectivity can be inconsistent. Overall, it provides a satisfactory learning environment but needs improvements.

1. The instructer are very well trained , but the managenent has many flaws in them. 2. Tehe teachers of this collage are very educated and well trained ,but the management needs a lot of improvement. 3. The Management Process of this collage a bit hectic and problematic.
