Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Mechanical Engineering is 4-years full-time undergraduate engineering programme recognised by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE, New Delhi) and offered by Chhattisgarh Swami Vivekanand Technical University (CSVTU), Bhilai (C.G.). Mechanical Engineering is concerned with the production and use of heat and mechanical power for the designing, production and operation of machines and tools and control of systems and components such as fluid mechanics, material science, thermodynamics, kinematics, etc. Mechanical engineers use these core concepts along with tools like computer-aided design (CAD), and product lifecycle management to design, analyze and manufacturing of equipment.

Admission Details

CG Quota - Admission is carried out through Online Counselling being conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Govt. of Chhattisgarh. The Counselling is based on the Marks obtained in 10+2 and Score obtained in the Pre Engineering Test (PET) conducted by the State Govt.
Other State Quota - The Admission is carried out through Online Counselling being conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Govt. of Chhattisgarh. The Counselling is based on the Marks obtained in 10+2 and Score obtained in the Joint Entrance Examination - Main (JEE Main) at National Level.
Management Quota - The Admission is carried out internally at the Institute / College Level. Students from Chhattisgarh State, as well as Outside State, are eligible for Admission based on the Marks obtained in 10+2 and Score obtained in Pre Engineering Test (PET) / Joint Entrance Examination - Main (JEE Main).

College Infrastructure

The College infrastructure design is pretty average. It has many building courses and separate departments for different courses. The campus is little old but have great space for parking and playground.
