Christ College is a co-educational college. It offers an undergraduate as well as postgraduate curriculum, preferring merit and following state Government and university regulations relating thereto. For certain courses such as B.Ed and D.El.Ed, admission is predicated solely on merit-based passing of qualifying exams/entrance exams, as determined by the state.

B.Com: The candidate's interest to join the B.Com programme of Christ College means considering eligibility for 120 candidates. Christ College admission will be done on the merit list; consecutively, marks obtained in the qualifying examination with commerce streams in +2, or the equivalent.
B.Ed: In the B.Ed programme of the College, there are 100 available seats. Admission for this program will be made only on merit, based on marks obtained from the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination, according to state government and university.
BCA: A total of 60 seats are available for the Bachelor of Computer Applications programme. Admission is based on the merit determined by a candidate's performance in the 10+2 exams.
PGDCA: The Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Applications has 60 seats on offer. Any graduates from any discipline can apply for admission, and admission will be based on merit in the qualifying degree.
D.El.Ed: Assuming that there are 50 seats for the Diploma in Elementary Education, admission is based on merit obtained from marks of qualifying examination/entrance examination from state authorities.
MSW: MSW programme conducts admission to 40 seats. Admission is given on the basis of merit of the students from various disciplines.
M.Sc Programmes: The college offers M.Sc in Botany, Chemistry, Computer Science, as well as Biotechnology. Each programme is shrunken down to little capacity with restricted seats, i.e., 10-15; and indeed on account of the degree-wise-merit based admission.

I am studying a course whose name is D EL ED. it's full name is Diploma in Elementary Education, it is Teacher training for basic teacher (1-5). In this college teaching are very helpful for student so that he can work as an experienced teacher during his life time. Yes I think curriculum is updated and includes all the recent development in the field. Yes I can get a job as a teacher in the future with this type of education.
