GITAM HBS, MBA curriculum follows a well-designed course structure. During the first year students build a firm, broad foundation of general management concepts and skills across all the key disciplines. In the final year all students have a choice for their specialization, major and minor, in areas of Marketing, Finance, Human Resource and International Business as per the Institute norms. The flexibility of choosing major and minor as dual specialization allows a student to build cross-functional competencies.
At GITAM HBS, we keep on evolving our curriculum annually to ensure the alignment with industry requirement and classroom teaching-learning process. In fact it is this dynamic spirit which differentiates MBA at GITAM HBS from many others.
SPECIALIZATION COURSES The students shall take dual specialization offered in IV and V trimesters. Each student has to choose two specialization groups from the FIVE specialization groups offered during IV & V Trimesters. A minimum of 20 students should be registered for offering a particular specialization. Following is the Course Structure for IV & V Trimesters.

Accreditation is a process by which the quality of a programme is examined and certified normally by an external body of academics. It validates and certifies that academic processes practised within an institute are robust and relevant.
For any programme to be recognized for further studies or a profession it needs to be approved either by a University or/and by a professional council as the case may be.
