Dear aspirant,

As you have mentioned that you have secured 420+ marks in neet 2021 and taking into consideration that you are aiming for semi government colleges so let me tell you that it is quite possible for you to get semi government colleges.

But various factors are considered while deciding the cut offs like number of candidates appearing in the examination, number of vacant seats in college, previous years cut offs and difficulty level of the paper.

Dear aspirant,

Congratulations for getting such a good marks without coaching. But as the competition is very high and the cut-offs of government colleges varies with,

1) No. of candidates
2) Demand for that particular college or university amongst the candidate
3) Level of exam
4) No. of seats, etc.

It seems your marks is little short for getting any government institutions. But you can avail top private institutions in HP or UP.

Hello aspirant,

Firstly there is nothing like a free seat in any medical institutions.

But you can expect a low fees from government colleges in your state.

As you didn't mentioned your category, taking you as a GENERAL category, you should score at least 510 or more in NEET entrance exam for a government college seat in Andhra Pradesh.

You can avail TUTION FEE WAIVER from some institutions if you are from selected reserved category.

You can check cut-offs for NEET exam in Andhra Pradesh by the link given below,

Hello aspirant,
NEET cutoff is the minimum qualifying marks to be obtained to pass the exam. NEET UG 2021 cutoff for general category candidates is 50th percentile. While for SC/ST/OBC and general-PH aspirants, NEET qualifying percentile is 40th and 45th percentile, respectively.
Last year, NEET cutoff scores for the general category were 720-147, while for SC/ST/OBC it was 146-113.
For getting the best government college you need to above 650+.

Hi Ganga , hope you are doing well. According to your question I want to mention that with a rank of 5800 in KEAM and matching it against rank vs cutoff trends from previous years you have minimum chances of securing a seat in CSE in any Government College. However there are 3 private colleges still available  that will accept you for their CSE course. I am mentioning the name of those 3 institutions alongwith the last rank that got admission the previous year, below:-

  • SCMS School of Engg. & Tech., Ernakulam- 11512
  • Toc H Institute of Science & Tech., Mulamthurutthy - 16614
  • Viswajyothi College of Engg. & Technology,Vazhakulam -11716

Hope this helps

Thanking you

Yours sincerely

Somenath Chattopadhyay

Hello Aspirant,

See according to previous year's cut-offs you have some chances in NITs like NIT Calicut, Patna, Hamirpur and so on, only if you deserve Home state quota for them otherwise no because under Other state quota closing rank for NITs were around 150-200 for EWS candidates . So you have very less or almost no chances for any of the NITs or any good government colleges but yes you can go for some private colleges that offer Architecture course on the basis of class 12th score or on the basis of low score in JEE-Main.

You can check out previous year's cut-offs from the official website of JOSAA as given below :-

https://josaa.nic.in/Result/Result/currentorcr.aspx

Or else I would recommend you to either go for preparation of further attempts of JEE-Main and to help you in your preparation we have some resources which you can access from the link given below :-

https://learn.careers360.com/jee-main-coaching/?utm_source=%20QnA

Note that the above prediction is made on the basis of latest cut-offs available on official website of JOSAA or CSAB and the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors such as the number of candidates appearing in an examination, the number of candidates qualifying an examination, difficulty level of the paper, and so on.

To have a list of all those colleges which you can get based upon your marks, category, and state you can use JEE-Main Architecture College Predictor:-

I hope this information helps you.

Good Luck for your future!!

Hi

Your profile suggests that your domicile state is Haryana.

I am assuming you from general category.

It is difficult to make prediction as cut off keeps changing every year  depending upon various factors like

  • number of students that appeared in the neet examination,

  • kind of marks obtained by students  in neet ,

  • toughness level of the neet examination,

  • number of seats available etc.

But when we go through previous data then

>>>>> with 587 marks

you hold a little  low chance to get mbbs seat in Government Medical College .

For example,

in neet  2020, 600 marks for general category was the lowest marks to get mbbs seat in  government medical college   under Haryana state quota and it was for Shaheed Hasan Khan Mewati Government Medical College, Nalhar

You can check the same at

https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-cutoff-haryana

But yes

You have chances in following private mbbs colleges in Haryana:-

----------) Adesh Medical College and Hospital, Kurukshetra:- 488 marks

----------) World College of Medical Sciences and Research, Jhajjar

----------) NC Medical College and Hospital, Panipat

And a few more

Also,

You have chances in top deemed universities for mbbs which are listed below along with their neet 2020 , 2nd round cut off :-

----------) Hamdard Inst. of Med. Sciences and Research, New Delhi:- 584 marks

----------) Kasturba Medical College, Manipal Univ., Manipal:-572 marks

----------) Kasturba Medical College, Manipal Univ., Manglore:- 554

----------) JSS Medical College, Jagadguru:- 528 marks

And more

Above prediction is on the basis of past year data but  cutoff keeps changing every year  due to   many factors as mentioned earlier, so to have a clear picture of the colleges in   which you have to chances and

to get the complete list of colleges in which you have chances, you can go through our college predictor at

Thankyou

Hello aspirant,
I hope that you are doing well. Congratulations it's a nice score . Yes , you have a great probability to get government bds seat in state quota with 542 marks.

But the cutoff  marks change year to year and vary for different states. If in case you didn't get government seat then you must try for semi government seat.

Although getting mbbs seat depends upon various factors like number of students appeared in the exam, difficulty level of exam, AIQ rank, category, region, state, state rank, etc. But You can try for semi government seat or private seat.

If you want to predict your rank in accordance with your marks then follow the given link:-
