The infrastructure is impressive for a city college — clean and spacious classrooms, well-equipped computer labs, science laboratories, and upgraded library that provides access to both physical and digital learning resources.
Academically, the college is known for its dedicated faculty who go beyond textbooks to ensure students understand concepts thoroughly. The teachers are approachable and supportive, always encouraging students to do their best. Regular seminars, cultural activities, and academic events add to the holistic learning experience.
The placement cell is gradually growing stronger. While core placements are still developing, the college has tie-ups with several companies and provides good exposure through internships, job fairs, and skill development programs. Students are also guided for higher education and competitive exams. Overall, it's a great college for students who are serious about academics and want to grow in a supportive and culturally rich environment.

Faculty is knowledgeable and supportive. Notes and materials are shared regularly. Doubts are cleared properly during lectures.Good balance of theory and practical learning. Labs support academic growth. Some subjects could use more real-world examples.
Good placement for tech branches. Non-tech placements are fewer. Internships are also offered in final year. Overall decent start to career.Placements are improving year by year. Soft skills and aptitude training help a lot. More opportunities for CS/IT students than other streams.
The college has a good infrastructure with well-maintained classrooms, fully equipped labs, and a digital library. Wi-Fi is available in the academic blocks. The canteen is hygienic and serves decent food. Sports facilities are also provided. The overall campus is clean, and there are proper seating areas and greenery for students to relax. Regular maintenance ensures the facilities are functional and student-friendly. Hostels are decent, but can be improved.

The average package is decent, and some students also get higher packages through off-campus drives. If you’re not after a luxury but want a chill clean and green campus with the basics in place to study and fully functional labs and classrooms, and a library that’s very perfect for quiet study sessions.
The academic atmosphere is decent with well experienced teachers —if you are good and sincere students that perfect place for you. Don’t expect hand-holding; self-study plays a big role and some teacher are very supportive
Placements are limited, mostly for commerce and IT. If you rely only on college, it’s very tough. But with internships and effort, you can make it work. if you want a decent package you have to do higher studies or internships after graduation.
If you’re not after luxury but want a chill clean and green campus with the basics in place to study. The labs and classrooms are okay, and a library that’s perfect for quiet study sessions. Overall not a modern college.
The academic atmosphere is okay—good for sincere students. Faculty is well experienced andsome teacher are very supportive. But Don’t expect hand-holding; you have to do self-study to plays a big role.
Placements are decent in Maharashtra college —mostly local firms, some of them offer decent packages. Good if you're proactive, but big-name recruiters are rare. If you want to have a good package then you have to do higher studies.
The infrastructure of Maharashtra College is quite decent for students who are mainly focused on academics. Classrooms are spacious and generally kept clean, though some furniture is a bit old. The college has a library with a good collection of academic books, which is helpful for studying and completing assignments. Wi-Fi is available in certain areas but not very strong throughout the campus. There are science laboratories for practicals, and they are equipped with basic instruments, though more modern equipment would improve the experience. The college does not have a hostel, so students usually stay off-campus. Cleanliness is maintained well in most areas, but the washrooms need better hygiene. The canteen provides average food; it’s affordable, but more variety and better quality could help. Overall, the infrastructure is okay and functional, but there is definitely scope for modernization and better maintenance. Rating: 3.5/5
The academics at Maharashtra College are one of its strong points. I am currently pursuing my degree here, and the quality of teaching is quite good. Most of the professors are experienced and explain concepts in a way that is easy to understand. They are supportive, and if any student has doubts, the teachers usually help them after class as well. The curriculum is mostly as per Mumbai University guidelines, so it's a standard structure. While it covers the core subjects well, there is limited focus on skill-based learning or the latest industry trends. Some of the subjects feel a bit outdated and could be improved with more practical or job-oriented content. Exams are conducted on time, and internal assessments are managed well. Notes and study materials are often provided by teachers, which is helpful during exams. However, the college could do better by including guest lectures, workshops, or collaborations with companies to prepare students better for jobs. Overall, if your main aim is to study and score well academically, the college provides a good environment. But for those looking for modern industry skills or high placement support, extra effort outside the classroom may be needed. Rating: 4/5
Placement opportunities at Maharashtra College are limited, especially for undergraduate students. The college does not have a very active placement cell, and only a small percentage of students are placed through campus drives. Most students have to look for job opportunities on their own after graduation. Companies that do visit the college mostly offer roles in customer service, sales, or basic administrative positions with average salary packages ranging between ₹1.5 LPA to ₹3 LPA. High-end placements or core industry roles are not common here. The placement support team tries to help but it still needs to improve in terms of company tie-ups and interview preparation sessions. For students who are serious about getting placed right after college, it’s important to focus on building skills outside the curriculum—like internships, online certifications, or language training. The college is more suitable for those planning to pursue higher studies rather than seeking immediate employment. Rating: 2.5/5
The course fee at Maharashtra College is quite affordable compared to many private institutions. For undergraduate courses like B.Com or B.Sc, the annual fee is usually between ₹5,000 to ₹10,000 depending on the stream. For self-financed courses like BMS or BAF, the fee might go up to ₹20,000–₹30,000 per year, which is still reasonable. In terms of value, the college provides decent infrastructure and a good academic environment for the amount charged. However, when it comes to placements and extra academic support like career counselling or skill-building workshops, there is room for improvement. For students aiming for higher studies or government exams, it’s a cost-effective option. Overall, if you're looking for a budget-friendly college for graduation in Mumbai, this college offers a fair return on investment for the basic education and degree it provides. Rating: 3.5/5
The campus life at Maharashtra College is fairly active and welcoming. Although the college campus is not very large, it is well-maintained and located in a central and easily accessible part of Mumbai. The environment is safe and generally secure for all students, with necessary emergency facilities in place. There are various extracurricular activities, including NSS, sports events, cultural festivals like Jashn-e-Maharashtra, and debate competitions that give students opportunities to engage beyond academics. Students are encouraged to participate, and some events also foster inter-departmental interaction. The students come from diverse backgrounds, which creates an inclusive and enriching learning atmosphere. Teachers are generally supportive and approachable, and the non-teaching staff is cooperative. However, one downside is the limited canteen space and lack of modern recreational facilities, which could improve the overall student experience. Still, the sense of community and regular engagement activities make the campus life fulfilling. Rating: 4/5
Decent college in South Mumbai. Classrooms are okay, labs are usable, and the library is peaceful auditorium and lecture hall are large and well- designed. Infrastructure is average but serves the purpose.
The academic atmosphere is okay—good for sincere students. Don’t expect hand-holding; self-study plays a big role. Academic decipline: various fields of study, such as humanity , natural science . Academic freedom to explore , discuss ,express Ideas .
Good for first-gen graduates aiming for entry-level roles. Placement isn’t guaranteed but support is there if you’re proactive. Internship and job placement, interview preparation, job fairs and networking events
Maharashtra College, Mumbai offers basic infrastructure. Classrooms are decent, labs are functional, and the library is a quiet spot for study. Facilities are modest but meet student needs.this college is worth it
Academics are decent with dedicated professors. Some are really supportive, while others are average. You get what you put in.we have to put efficient effort for studying else teachere are quite supportive
College offers basic placement support. Some students get placed in good companies, but most rely on self-effort and external job portals. It's based on how we presented ourselves in front of the companies, professor
The college infrastructure is good. All the facilities are available in the good. We have good library and quite good enough auditorium. We have computer lab. All types of course can be pursued in my college as our college offer multiple courses of different different fields.
The academic quality is nice. The teaching qualities is also good. We have so many teachers in our college. The teachers are friendly and helpful. Their way of teaching is quite good and fun. I have learnt so many things from my institution.
My college provide average placement opportunities. I want them to provide us more placement opportunities with good salary package. They should provide us internships program as well as full time opportunities.
My college take appropriate fees. They don't charge much from the students. Also they take less fees from the students coming from poor financial background. They also try to help us financially by giving free education to needy people.
The campus life is good of my college. I have seen man people enjoying their campus life with their friends. Though I haven't enjoyed that much. My college campus provide so many extra curricular activities for the students like sports, dance, games etc.
Overall I would give a 3 stars to this college because they can improve much better. By the was my experience was good and memorable. I met some amazing people and friends. I have made many memories in my college.
