At my times, the seating arrangements were not that good, but now everything has been better, with Air conditioned classrooms, smart boards, and a big library for a better experience. IPD & OPD wards are also Air conditioned now.
There is no proper module system or semester system followed, exams are conducted once a year, no internal exams as such for regular evaluation. For which you have to study on your own, only a few teachers guide , rets are usually on leave.
There is no such placement facility provided, you have various options either to start practicing on your own, or prepare for NEET PG and appear for exams for MD . There is no campus recruitment as such.
College is equipped with centralised AC but library is closed most of the times and does not have adequate number of books required for reference. There is no sports area. Living spaces are clean. There is no canteen though.
Only 30% of the syllabus is taught, rest students have to approach seniors and study by themselves. Teachers don’t turn up for classes and for many lectures there are no staff available for teaching. If you expect teachers to teach you then it’s not happening in this college.
No campus placements are provided. After graduation people have to look for jobs themselves. Many of the students give PG entrance exams and do MD after PG. The last year is an internship year during graduation and they offer a stipend of ₹23,500 per month for an year to all the interns. This internship is provided by the college. They place you at different hospitals, Dispensaries etc. during the course of the internship.
1250₹ was the annual tuition fee. Rest expenses included only books and examination fees. Exams also occur annually. Being a government college, the fee was very low.
There is no campus life as such which you think is seen on movies. Only a handful of programs like freshers fest, farewell, teachers day and elections are held in college. There are no societies and no other cultural events throughout the year.
Earlier it was not but not the infrastructure is better, OPDs had only fans, now is totally airconditioned, classrooms are air conditioned but there is no concept of canteen. There is no playground...
No proper curriculum is followed, and no semester system, only yearly exams are conducted. You have to study on your own, no dissection classes in anatomy first year were there. But patient exposure in OPD is good.
No placements from college are there, you have to prepare for MD for various subjects and colleges. Or you have to prepare for UPSC FOR medical officer. or you can start your own clinic or go for masters in public health.
air conditioned classrooms with comfortable seats, and smart board for a good experience, the labs are well equipped with instruments, giving you a good experience. washrooms could be better, no proper sports ground, no auditorium.
you have to study on your own, JRs are there to teach you, main faculty is either busy or usually on a leave, so there is no teaching as such. seniors are helpful during exams, rest you have to be your own teacher.
There is no placement committee, no one to guide you as such. some teachers, have unofficial groups where they help you prepare for UPSC, there is no such placement assistance or guidance. you have to prepare for exms for MD, MPH etc.
yes, its a great return of investment.
No proper campus as such
Since it's a government college so infrastructure is only decent not advance. We don't have any wifi, smart board etc. We have no hostel facilities for UG students. It is only available for pg students.
I am studying BHMS because it is my passion to become a doctor. Quality of teaching is okay since we are taught by doctors themselves. It is a professional course so if job doesn't work well, we can always open our own clinic.
It is a medical college so placements do not go too well here. Doctors do not require placements, mostly. We have got 7 seats for PG in our college with a very good amount of stipend and we are termed as Junior Residents and one seat for senior resident.
Fee structure is approximately 1250/- per year. It's a really small amount
Campus life is best for me here. My college is situated in Defence Colony which is one of posh areas of delhi. It's safe and emergencies can be handled.
