1.Yes, my college has good infrastructure. The classrooms are well-maintained and have good ewuipment but the teaching needs to ge improved. 2.The classrooms, labs, library, sports area are well maintained but not the hostel. 3.Yes,the living spacses are clean but the food is not hygienic.
1.I am studying B.E in aiml because it has scoope in the future and it is helpfull. The quailty of teaching is moderate. 2.No the dont include.Yes it makes us but not that ready. But it still depends on us
1.The placements have been quite good this year 2.60%.12 LPA 3. 3.5 LPA is the avg.It depends on you.Yes they are supportive but we need to build skills so that we can get placeed in a good companies.
1.It has best infrastructure rather then that nothing they conduct 2 events in a year dj nigth and freshers that it 2.They are supportive,Its good and safe, yes can handle emergencies
I love the heritage look of the building and it is beautiful and perfect for my Instagram. The absolute saving grace for me, the feature I pray to, is the air conditioning in the classrooms as it is how I survive the summer seasons. Beyond that, I have to prepare to feel cramped because the shared campus makes everything tiny. The internet facility provided by the college is very weak and I try to avoid the washrooms entirely because the maintenance is permanently questionable. Overall, the college is pretty, but I wish the utilities matched the reputation.
I came here for the degree and I think I picked the right place. My English faculty is undeniably elite. They are the sole reason I give this section a perfect score. The curriculum is heavy, the discussions are intense, and they expect me to do real, critical research. It feels like a boot camp, but I appreciate the rigor and the excellent support in the tutorials because I know I will be completely prepared to face those brutal Calcutta University exams. I genuinely feel I am receiving top-tier education.
I am an English Honours student and placements are not designed for me. I see the placement cell primarily catering to Commerce and vocational streams. The few opportunities I see for English majors are often low-paid, basic administration roles, which I find frankly insulting to my level of study. The unspoken rule I have learned here is that my job placement is contingent on me getting a Master’s degree immediately.
I think the location is fantastic, which is important because all the fun I have happens outside the gates. Inside, the atmosphere is excessively strict and I often feel like I am back in high school. They track my attendance with religious intensity. While the focus on safety as an all-girls institution is reassuring for my parents, I find that this seriously restricts my freedom. Big, famous college fests or a vibrant on-campus scene is very rare here.
Classrooms are generally spacious and the necessary seating arrangements are functional for the large student intake the college have. For the Journalism course, the specialized media laboratory equipment feels minimal and is often noticeably outdated in its technological capabilities. Internet service across the college premises is quite inconsistent and extremely unreliable for urgent project deadlines or research work. The basic maintenance of the washroom facilities and the common student areas really requires more focused and consistent attention from the administration.
The faculty members within the Journalism and Mass Communication department are unquestionably the greatest strength the college possesses. Almost all the professors bring substantial and relevant industry experience into every lecture discussion they conduct in class. The course curriculum is structured quite well, effectively balancing theoretical foundations with practical skill development opportunities for students. Teachers are genuinely approachable here. Assignments and internal assessments are rigorously designed to test a student's critical thinking and conceptual application abilities. I feel I am receiving a good, recognized university education here, which is the main objective.
The job placement prospects for the Journalism course are currently still in a relatively nascent stage of development. The dedicated placement cell does actively try to coordinate, but visibility specifically for our course is unfortunately quite low among major media companies. Only a small handful of very local or relatively new public relations firms have visited the campus for recruitment drives.
Several highly active student-run societies organize frequent cultural festivals, engaging workshops, and relevant academic seminars throughout the entire academic session. The annual college fest is a particularly massive event, celebrated with widespread enthusiasm and full participation from the entire student community. It is a highly supportive, socially engaging and a perfectly safe place.
Good facility and infrastructure are available for our course. College Wi-Fi is also available, along with labs, classrooms, and the library. Hostel facilities are very nice, and the quality of food is average in the mess and canteen. Medical facilities, sports, and games are also available
Helpful teaching staff and a relevant curriculum make the students industry-ready. The passing is 35 out of 100 in semester exams. 100 will be converted to 60, and for 60 marks, the passing is 21 minimum. The teaching staff is very knowledgeable about their engineering topics.
Around 5 people were placed through college placement. The highest was 8 LPA, the lowest was 2 LPA, and the average was 3.5 LPA. LG Soft, Alten, Motherson, IBM, and many more recruited. No internship was provided by the college. Developer, Engineering Trainee, Marketing Engineering, etc., are the job roles offered.
The infrastructure of our college is very good. Laboratory is well-equipped. It has a central library on the top floor of the college. Hostel rooms are very good and spacious. It has a gym facility. The food served in the mess is not good. There is a huge playground on campus. Wi-Fi is available. Basketball, volleyball, and badminton courts are available. Football and cricket grounds are available.
Faculty members in our college are supportive and knowledgeable. They help students during competitive exams along with college exams. They teach students very well. Semester exams are tough, but students can score good marks if they are attentive in class. They provide extra training in IoT, etc.
The maximum or highest salary package offered is 16 LPA, the minimum salary package is 3.5 LPA, and the average salary package is 5 LPA to 7 LPA. The maximum salary package offered in ECE was 13 LPA and the average salary package is 4 LPA to 6 LPA. The average salary package offered in AS branch is 3 LPA to 5 LPA.
Our college is eco friendly learning environment. the college is well equipped with modern infrastructure, including many classroom and tutorial rooms and seminar halls, well maintained laboratory and library units that provides a wide range of academic resources
The academics at PESITM shimoga is provide a strong foundation in technical education combined with practical learning and research exposure. The college is comes under vtu belagavi and approved by AICTE
The placement cell of PESITM place a vital role in preparing students for professional success. The training and placement department actively works to enhance students employability skills to continues training, industry interaction and career guidance sessions
The Campus life at PESITM is lively, friendly, and full of learning and fun activities. The college has a beautiful green campus, creating a calm and peaceful environment for students to study and relax.
The PESITM Shimoga offers a complete and balanced college experience. It combine strong academics, modern infrastructure, skilled faculty and good placement with a friendly and supportive environment. The campus provides everything students need from well equipped labs and libraries to sports, cultural events and comfortable hostel
The college's infrastructure is commendable, providing all the necessary facilities and equipment for a conducive learning environment. The classrooms, laboratories, and library are well-maintained and fully equipped, including modern amenities like Wi-Fi and smart boards. The sports centers and hostels are also in good condition. The teachers and faculty are friendly and supportive, contributing positively to the overall academic experience. However, there are significant issues with the food and bus services. The food served in the canteen is neither good nor hygienic, which is a major concern. The bus facility is also a point of frustration for many students. Despite the availability of numerous buses, the college does not provide extra buses during peak hours, forcing many students to stand in bus
I am currently pursuing a degree in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AIML). The department is highly focused on practical application, with a strong emphasis on building real-world projects. The quality of teaching is good, with faculty members who are knowledgeable and supportive. The curriculum is regularly updated to include the latest advancements in the field, which ensures that what we study is relevant and makes us job-ready.
To be honest, the campus placements are not good. The companies that are called for recruitment are mostly CSR drives or offer packages within 3.5 LPA. However, some students did receive a highest package of 8 LPA.
PES Institute of Technology and Management, is located on NH 206, Sagar Road, Shivamogga–577204. The campus provides a peaceful and safe environment for students to learn and grow. One of the best things about our college is the quality of education and the dedication of our faculty members. The teachers are very supportive, friendly, and always ready to help students, both academically and personally. The college offers various activities such as technical fests, seminars, sports events, and cultural programs where students can showcase their talents and develop leadership skills. These events create a lively and engaging atmosphere on campus. However, one of the major drawbacks is the lack of strong campus placement opportunities. Although students receive good knowledge and guidance from teachers, the college management could improve in organizing placements and internships more effectively. The campus itself is safe and well-maintained. Another advantage is its location—since it is near the NH Hospital, any emergency can be handled quickly and easily. Overall, PES Institute of Technology and Management is a good place for students seeking quality education and supportive faculty, though it still has room to improve in terms of management and placement support.
PESITM Shivamogga offers quality education, supportive teachers, and a pleasant campus setting. The academic side is strong and students benefit from friendly faculty and good facilities. On the flip side, prospective students should keep in mind that campus placements aren’t outstanding yet, and the management and support services have some room for improvement. With the right mindset taking initiative, and proactively seeking internship, students can make good use of the environment here.
1. Yes we do have good infrastructure but the equipment and facilities are not that level of high tech. 2. yes they are well maintained but access and facilities need to be improved and some equipment need to be changed 3. need to agree , every corner is cleaned twice a day and the food is healthy and have variety of choices
1. I am studying AI&ML because I was interested in innovation and creating new things and tools but the teaching quality is not top notch 2. yes it is updated but not useful as there is no update in recent innovations and creations. yes it make to create new things which gives me the confidence to be ready for the job
1. I needs to improve in multiple ways as they are not updating to current market 2. it is around 40% . the package was around 8 LPA which was for PDA role in Finacle (infosys) company 3.The average was 3.5 LPA for system software role . it was for 3 rd year students for this role it was quite easy and pleasant . they were really supportive
1. one of the best thing is infrastucture as they are well maintained however staffs need to be open minded it feels like we are in our pre schools as they are quite strict , the can engage in sports like football, cricket and cafeteria's also the fest and technical events are conducted regularly 2. they are very discipline and strict but also friendly . the location is Sagar Road Shimoga ,Karnataka . it is absolutely safe as they are very strict and they have multi-special hospital of 1km around and police station
My clg has a good infrastructure with all the necessary facilities like smart classrooms, well-equipped laboratories, a library and sport centres. Campus has Wi-fi connectivity and equipment is well maintained. Overall clg provides a clean, supportive and well maintained environment for both learning and living
I am pursuing BE in ISE Dept. Quality of teaching is not very effective Most teachers rely only on PPTs and they don't explain the concepts in depth which makes it difficult for students to clearly understand the topics. Curriculum is fairly updated due to lack of proper teaching methods and it doesn't fully prepare students to be job-ready.
Placements opportunities in our clg are quite limited. Very few companies visit the campus and most of them are training institutes offering internship rather than full time jobs. Number of students placed is very low with avg package of 2.5 LPA. College mainly focuses on minimizing the expenses instead of inviting good core companies which affects the placement quality. Overall placement process is not very effective or supportive for the students.
Campus PESITM is good, green and well laidout, offering good sports and academic setting. Since clg is lil far from city centre transport and convenience can be a bit of a challenge. Need improvement in lot more areas
Out college does have good infrastructure but it's not well maintained still many of projector in main seminar hall lacks off and in conventional center also But there are new building that are been constructed earlier this year has very good infrastructure also college have a good canteen facility
I'm studying be in AIML where I'm interested in the technology and booming of ai field So quality of teaching is good in our department and also in the college too many of the prof are highly qualified and also well maintained curriculum
The quality of placement is not up to the expectations There are very less number of placement that have been compared to last couple of years but still as I saw 10 lpa has placed as highest 3.8 to 9 lpa has been offered and improving the placement for the students by CDC and college is supportive in this placements
Our college campus has a vast consists of cricket ground football ground canteens and much more And teachers are supportive here and location is but far but it's fun and it's in the outskirts of the city and college can handle emergency and also safe
The infrastructure in the college is very beautiful. It is pleasant with a good atmosphere. Facilities in the classrooms are good. Faculty members in the college sometimes teach digitally. Facilities in the hostel are good, and it is very secure for girls.
Teachers in this college are well-educated. They motivate students in the right direction. They share all the resources that students want. They also help in projects. Exams in this college are not easy and not tough as they also depend on students.
Most of the students in the college get placed in top companies like Flipkart, Visa, Adobe, Capgemini, IBM, Accenture, Infosys, Cognizant, etc. The highest package is 45 LPA and the average package is 6.5 LP. The lowest package is 3.6 LPA. Few students also got internships.
Our college has many facilities like Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and a library. We have a 24x7 Wi-Fi facility. Labs and the library are available up to 12 AM. So we can use them anytime and fulfill our needs. Hostels are very good. We have a free gym and a big ground. Our college provides different types of sports. The quality of the food is good.
Faculty members are very helpful. They clear our doubts and guide us. They conduct practical exams. The course curriculum is more relevant to today's technology. We have different training programs. From the training programs, we get to know more about the industry. Our semester exams are not that tough. In our college, the pass percentage is 65%.
Our college provides placements with an average package of 4 LPA. The passing out batch got more than 1,000 placements. The highest package is 40 LPA. I do not have an idea of the lowest package. Top recruiting companies like Visa, Accenture, Capgemini, etc., visit the college for placements.
Our hostel is very good and spacious. We have attached washrooms in our hostel and also with air-conditioners. The best view is provided from our hostel surroundings. We have well advanced computer labs and have a digital library which is open till midnight.
Faculty members are supportive and familiar with students. They are very highly talented, along with a doctorate certificate. They provide very good guidance for all students. Our curriculum includes events like appathons and hackathons, which are conducted over 24 hours.
Top recruiting companies are Google, Amazon, Flipkart, etc. The highest salary package offered in our college is 42 LPA and almost all students got jobs from all branches. Students secured internships from high companies with a stipend of Rs. 90,000. We have CRT program, which is conducted before placement in order to train students.
Wi-Fi is good and classrooms are neat and clean. The library is good. The campus is very beautiful. The quality of food is good in the mess and canteen. Facilities in the hostel are also good. Medical facilities and sports and games are also good. It provides good support when someone is sick
Teaching is just good, and the staff members are also good. The course curriculum is good, and it makes students ready for the industry. Semester exams are sometimes very tough. The pass percentage is 80%. Sometimes we get medium-level papers and we will get exam papers from NITs also
More than half of the strength of total students get placed till now. The highest salary package offered is 45 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 4 LPA. The average salary package offered is 4.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Amazon, Adobe, and Visa visit the college for placements.
The college facilities are very good and it is a Wi-Fi-enabled campus with a good atmosphere. The college includes a lab for each department. Mechanical, aerospace and aeronautical labs are under ground. Faculty members are good and friendly with students
Teachers are well qualified and knowledgeable. We rate them 8 out of 10. The college's working hours are 8.30 am to 4 pm from Monday to Friday. Each 1st and 3rd Saturday of college is a holiday. From second year onwards, college will take an industrial visit every 3 months.
College placement is good. Yearly, nearly 50+ companies will come to interview the students, including Wipro, Infosys, etc. The average package is 350000 to 400000, and the highest package in my college is 1800000. The percentage of students who were placed in our course last year was 40-50%.
Overall, the college infrastructure is good and above average for a college like this. Lab facilities for aerospace engineering are good along with lawns being available. Hostel is also very good. The food options may vary depending on what you prefer to eat. The college hostel has well-equipped rooms available in double and triple sharing occupancy.
Faculty is good and very supportive when it comes to academics. Overall, the studies are good. The exams and the curriculum depends on the university which is VTU. Academically if you have an issue, the faculty is ready to help, but you have to request for any other kind of help. The point is, the faculty has a good knowledge about subjects but their teaching is questionable
The placements in the core sector are not good but CS and IT are good have good placements with top roles offered of developer and other positions. Recruiting companies are generally mass recruiters who offer packages varying between 3 to 7 lacs. Higher packages are offered majorly in CS branches, the core offers are low in the beginning.
The entire campus is Wi-Fi enabled with good internet connection. Labs are cleaned, and the college provides a very good instrument and also other equity. Classrooms are cleaned, and digital classrooms are also available here. The library is also good and equipped with air-conditioner.
The teachers in our college are very helpful. They always help students. They are very friendly with the students. Some teachers are PhD holders, and some are still pursuing. The course curriculum is relevant. The college faculty also conducts industrial training, and it is also very beneficial to students. Students gain lots of knowledge from this training.
Placements in our college are very good. Almost 60% of our students got placed in very different multinational companies. Companies like Wipro, TCS and many other companies visited our campus for placements. The highest salary offered was Rs. 40,000 per month. The lowest salary offered was Rs. 20,000 per month. Almost 30-20% of the students got internships in various companies like Tata, Havells etc.
The infrastructure of the college is good and satisfactory. However, a few basic improvements can make it even better - such as small upgrades in lab equipment. But the environment is clean. About the food it should improved and no proper food availablity as it's located in remoted area
The academics in the college need major improvement. The teaching quality is not up to the mark, and many faculty members do not show much interest in delivering lessons effectively. There is a lack of coordination among teachers, and academic activities are not properly organized. Core subjects are often neglected, and students are not given enough practical exposure through labs or projects.
The placement opportunities in the college are below expectations and need improvement. Many students are not well-prepared for interviews and tests because they lack a strong academic foundation and proper guidance from faculty. Placement training sessions are limited and often conducted without clear planning or focus on real industry requirements. The college should organize more training programs, mock interviews, and skill development workshops to help students build confidence. Companies should also be invited from a wider range of sectors to increase placement chances for all departments. With better preparation and support, students can perform much better during campus recruitment
Campus life in the college is decent and peaceful. Students get to interact with people from different backgrounds, which helps in building friendships and teamwork. However, there are very few extracurricular or cultural activities conducted, which makes the campus environment less engaging. More events, clubs, and student activities would make the college life more enjoyable and help students explore their talents beyond academics. The surroundings of the campus are clean and calm, creating a good atmosphere for studying. With more student involvement and regular events, the campus could become much more lively and balanced between studies and fun.
The collage is below average the collage can do more better with proper management and organization. Personally I fell below average but have potential if some steps are taken
There is well-furnished furniture with maintenance at its best. The beautiful garden is the center of attraction and attracts newcomers and many outsiders. The campus has Wi-Fi connection everywhere, and there are well-equipped laboratories for mechanical. There is a highly furnished computer lab with the capacity of 200 personal computers overall
The faculty members are veterans and well-versed in subjects with passion and commitment for teaching and 100% pass percentage. The principal himself is a motivation to other faculty members with heart touching nature. Our college is accredited by NAAC and affiliated to AICTE.
There have been no placements in the past years, but now our college has introduced classes called SEED (student empowerment enhancement development). We get good information about interviews, and we are getting the confidence to get selected in companies. Companies like Infosys, Cialfor, Prototech and many more visited our colleges for placements.
Infrastructure in my college is very very good. I like the classrooms they are all well equipped and we also have ready peoples who resolve academic issues very fast. We also have a nice canteen but the one in vesim is the better.
Practical application in our curriculum and teaching activities is really not up to the mark, it’s really lacking. Teachers are nice and helpful. I only like 2-3 subjects like organisational behaviour, marketing, etc.
I have heard before coming to college that the placements in our college is around 6 lakhs pa. Now seniors say that only marketing placements are any good and finance placements are not there at all. We have a placement committee though.
