48 MonthsBachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) is a 4-year and 6-month full-time course including six months internship offered by Gujarat University, Ahmedabad, and approved by the Indian Association of Physiotherapists(IAP).
Short Details of training program:
1st Year: Human Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Psychology, Sociology, Bio-Medical Physics & Exercise Therapy – I
2nd Year: Exercise Therapy – II, Kinesiology, Electro Therapy – I & II, Pathology, Microbiology, Pharmacology, Biostatistics & Research Methodology.
3rd Year: Medicine, Dermatology, Pediatrics, Neuro & Neurosurgery, Gynecology & Obstetrics, Plastic Surgery, Cardio-Thoracic Surgery, General Surgery, Ortho Traumatic & Non-Traumatic, ENT & Radiology, Physical & Functional Diagnosis.
4th Year: P.T. in Neurology, P.T. in Cardio-Pulmonary, P.T. in Orthopedics, P.T. in Medical-Surgical Conditions, Physiotherapy Rehabilitation
Eligibility Criteria
- Candidate must have passed the external evaluation in Higher Secondary examination under 10+2 education pattern or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English subjects.
- Eligible Candidate should have completed the age of 17 years by 31st December of the year of his /her joining the college.
Admission Details
Admission through the Admission Committee for Professional Medical Educational Courses of the Government of Gujarat on the Basis of Merit at B. J. Medical College, Asarwa, Ahmedabad.
