Placements could be far better
College Infrastructure
The best part of college was the infrastructure. The classrooms, surroundings, laboratories, library, and all the other clubs were well-maintained. As students, we had all the required facilities.
Academics
I was a Mechanical Engineering student at this college. The academics were just normal. There is not much to mention about the studies over here. The studies and the curriculum could have been more advanced according to the industry.
Placements
The quality of placements was the worst in the college at our time. The number was very low and poor. Placement criteria were given no preference at all. Hardly any were selected into some random companies with fewer packages.
Good studies but other aspects must be improved

The college has good infrastructure with modern classrooms, well-maintained labs, and spacious surroundings with required facilities for students. The environment is clean and provides space for learning and extracurricular activities.
Academics
The idea of the tri-sem system is good, but there seems to be a lack of planning and clarity in the implementation. Since the tri-sem system started later than expected, students are not getting summer vacation, and the pace of the semesters is also very fast, making it difficult to learn and understand the concepts.
Placements
The college does provide placement opportunities for the students, and many companies visit the campus every year. However, while a good number of students get placed, many of the opportunities are concentrated in service-based or entry-level roles. There are comparatively fewer high-paying product-based, research-oriented, or core engineering opportunities.

The college infrastructure is just ok. For the amount paid by the students, the facilities must and should be much better. But still, basic facilities are provided. Some classrooms and places are not comfortable.

I'm an ECE student at this college. The quality of teaching is good. Our syllabus is updated according to the technical needs, but we go through stress due to Tri Sem concept. Teachers and faculty are great, but sometimes our needs and requirements are not considered at all.
Placements
The quality of placements in this college is ok. Our college has good tie-ups with renowned companies and brands across. A percentage of students get placed with good salaries. But still, some of them don't get placed even though they are trained well.

A lot of patriarchal practices and biases, hence making friends difficult.

The infrastructure is average. The classroom are good but not all the classrooms are not smart classes. The bench in the classroom are also good quality but not great. The infrastructure is been delepoving.

The sallabus looks too outdated. Teachers are also average. There are 2 midsem exams and after mid sem there is semester exams. Not good computer lab facilities. The teachers are also graduated from the same collage too.
Placements
The fire and safety branch in the Btech course has 90% placement ratio since last couple of years and if you are enrolled in fire and safety branch so there are 100% chamce of getting placed for a good package and on the other side rest of all branches have significantly low placement in the college.
My experience with the college is very enriching and fun.

Campus is good. There are several labs for each specific branches like ME , Civil , computer science. Computer labs are really good and libraries good environment to study, security also used to very high.

Along with theoretical knowledge alot of emphasis is given on practical knowledge. Technical seminars related to google ambassador, AWS , red hat academy used to be conducted very frequently . Faculty is really good.
Placements
In this year for 2023-2027 batch tcs came and 180+ students are selected. Also there are several opportunities comes by completing the certificates. And for 3rd year students college fully focus on placement qnd very well manage academic circulm with placement prep.

I highly recommend to take admission if you want to take in jabalpur because fees is affordable, college environment, placements are quite nice.

In my electrical engineering branch the average ctc is 12.06 lpa which so good in compared to other nit and the placement percentage is almost 92 % which is good for core branches generally top placement company are like microsoft ,Google ,oracle , invidia etc

There are 3 to 4 main buildings and only civil has there only building all to themselves and others are like 3 branches in a single building. There is a little bit of sports complex also. University is very small in terms of area.The equipments in university are old and some does not work. Classrooms are old , they do not have good facilities and wifi is very bad.They are not well maintained. While classes are clean but same cannot be said for toilets and grounds.
