Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must have passed the qualifying examination, i.e. Senior Secondary [10+2] or equivalent from any system of education as recognized by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). Candidate should have completed successfully Mathematics, Physics and any one of the subjects from (Chemistry, Bio-technology, Computer Science, Biology) - in 11th AND / OR 12th, as applicable in the respective boards. and Must have secured a minimum of at least 60% aggregate marks or 6.50 (on a 10 point scale) or equivalent in the qualifying examination.
Admission Details
B Tech level, students are admitted through JEE (main) Examination conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi. As per the direction of the MHRD 50% of the seats in NITs will be filled from eligible candidates of States where NITs are located and rest 50% will be filled on All India Merit basis. The admissions are made centrally by CSAB (Central seat allocation board) as per the directions of MHRD.

College Infrastructure
College infrastructure about Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar University is well said because the interaction is very good and big and they have a very specious infrastructure and big classrooms Hindi classrooms they have a AC is and smart boards also and some of the classrooms are having a white board also.
One of the best engineering colleges in Punjab.

Marvelous infrastructure , well furnished labs for practical, a no. of sports,good hostels with wifi facilities, mess food also up to the mark,cleaniness of campus is also good,moreover security is also given importance.

The campus of NIT Jalandhar is lush green and has a very clean environment. The classrooms are well equipped with blackboard,smartboard,whiteboard and projectors.The classrooms are well furnished and fully ac equipped. The campus has a gym,various sports grounds,library,canteen,open air theatre and many more facilities which are well maintained by the authorities.Seperate hostel facilities are provided for both girls and boys.The living spaces are clean and well equipped with all basic amenities
