College Infrastructure
I usually spend more time in the labs than in my own room because the setup at PIET is just that good. I am talking about high-speed systems that don't lag when you're running heavy simulations, and the whole vibe is of a modern tech infrastructure. the smart classrooms are top-notch. as for the hostels, they've managed to ditch that cold, institutional feel. It genuinely feels like a second home where you can actually relax after a long day of coding.
Academics
I honestly didn't want a degree where i would just be learning theories and practicing coding. That's why i'm so glad i picked BCA CTIS at PIET. We jumped straight into deep end with Cloud Tech and Security from day one, which was exactly what i wanted. Everything we touch, from virtualization to data protection, feels like stuff I'll actually use in a real job. It's definitely a challenge, but i finally feel like i'm learning things will give my career a strong head start.
Placements
I feel like the Career Advancement Cell (CAC) is our backbone here. They actually put in the work to get us ready. I've watched my seniors go through these intense mock interviews and grooming sessions that totally transformed how carry themselves. Since my specialization is demanding. I really appreciate that the cell brings in recruiters, specifically the Cloud and Security experts. It's a huge relief knowing there's a team working around the clock just to make sure we land our dream roles.
Campus Life
Campus life here is just WOW! I recently joined the Cloud Club's introductory session on AWS, and it was awesome to see so many people having the same mindset i do. But it's never all about screens and servers; the festivals here are legendary. Whether it's the massive vibe during Holi or the peaceful energy of Vasant Panchami, the campus literally transforms with lights and music. There's always something happening that makes you feel part of a community, and that balance is what keeps us all sane during exam season.

Great studying there are 5 subjects and 5 teachers for each subject so every period one teacher continues where the other one left off so it’s fun to attend also my fav subject is accounts it’s fun because of the teachers

Places me are is risky but I got this college on the 3 rd list if the tenth examination but it’s worth the wait since commerce has more cut off and arts and science has comparison less cut off so it’s okay

Campus life is like student of the year movie there’s drama everyday and there are various clubs I can join to show talents and have fun other than studying there’s a lot more you can do iand kts exciting everyday

The infrastructure here is just incredible. It doesn't feel like those old, dusty engineering colleges you see in movies. The ECE wing is sleek, and the labs are actually updated with the stuff you'll see in the industry, like VLSI design tools and specialized loT kits that we actually get to use. the whole campus has high-speed Wi-FI, and the smart classrooms make the long lectures way less boring. It's a clean, modern space that actually makes you feel like a "techie" the moment you walk in.
Academics
Academics here are intense but in a good way. we aren't just stuck with textbooks; the focus is heavily on what's happening now in the tech world. A major highlight recently was our industrial visit to SCL Mohali. seeing semiconductor fabrication and VLSI processes up close was a wonderful moment. Also, hackathons are basically a must here. in Hacktu 7.0, the energy was off the charts, and i was so happy to see one of my own batchmates take home a win.
Placements
I will be honest about the numbers, since that's what everyone asks first. the placement cell is pretty relentless; they start preparing us early with mock interviews and coding practice. I have heard my senios getting placed with average packages of 5-6 LPA. The highest last year was 45 LPA which is just wow. Whether you are into core electronics or chasing big names like Amazon, the platform is right here. If you've got the skills, you're set for life.
Campus Life
The energy on campus right now is just different! We recently hosted Prof. Ved Prakash for a talk on global education trends, and it was actually super inspiring. Currently, PIET Quest 2026 is going on, and the preparation is non-stop. But it's not all work; the Maestros and Myntra Glam Fest we just had were absolutely awesome. It was the perfect mix of fun, fashion, and creativity that we all needed. It's wonderful place if you want to study hard and party harder.
PIET: A Strong Start to My Career
College Infrastructure
The campus at PIET feels more like a high-end corporate office and less of a traditional classroom. And the CSE department is basically my playground; the labs for AI, Robotics, and Cyber Security are extraordinary. Every classroom is digital, making lectures way more engaging. Plus, the whole campus has great Wi-Fi, and the library is the perfect quiet spot to get my things done. Between the modern cafe and the green lawns, it's just a really nice place to spend your day.
Academics
The classes at PIET are tough, but they actually prep you for the real world. we don't just write endless lines of code; we're building projects with concepts like Blockchain and Cloud Computing. It's way more than just textbooks; I've spent so much time in hands-on workshops for Ethical Hacking. My Professors are awesome, too; they're more like mentors who actually care about my ideas. It's a lot of work, but knowing i'm learning what's actually relevant makes everything worth it.
Placements
The Placement scene is one of those reasons why i chose CSE here. Most of my seniors land solid jobs around 5-6 LPA on average, but seeing someone getting a 45 LPA package really keeps me motivated. Big names like Amazon and Microsoft actually show up on campus, which is exciting. Our Career Advancement Cell starts prepping us early with the Student Readiness Program. It's a lot of pressure, but the time final year rolls around, you actually feel ready for the industry.
Campus Life
Campus life here is a blast. we just wrapped up the Athletic Meet, and watching our CSE team do well on the basketball court was such a highlight. but nothing beats the energy of Marstros 2026; having live celebrity performances on campus had us dancing all night. Whether we're participating through tech fests or just hanging out at the amphitheatre, the "Pietian" vibe is all about having fun while working hard. I've definitely made friends for life here.

Sports wise I would say the sports facilty is also good. It's a pan campus wifi enabled campus which is great.Hostel room also good not to big in area nor too small , lies in the sweet spot for the occupancy of the 3. Washrooms and Bathrooms are not attached its has joint setup separate from the rooms 2 on each floor and quite well maintained and well rigged. Food is good as compare to hostel food hygiene is maintained and have common mess for boys and girls. Rooms are well maintained by cleaning staffs and clean 2 times a weak can be contacted when neccassary. There multiple boys lounge and girls lounge in the hostels respectively , A common lounge too for the both boys and girls but its only one. classromms are good air conditioned and well maintained . There multiple libraries and well maintained too

As I am in BTECH CSE i would say the courses are designed well . The coding culure also very nice in the campus. There multiple coding clubs according to fields and the interest of the student and you can derive a good experience. Multiple hackathons happens in the college and you can get multiple opportunity for the hackathons happenig outside the college. Nearly of the speciallization is also offered from the 2nd year. The teachers are good and If one follows the academic and put a bit of effort by themselfs byside could make get good package.

Placements wise mass recruting is not happening , i believe good companies comes but you may get the offers if you are really good.There is a no means for the students who really don't know anything about the course or even the aleasts. You can get a decent package if you study.
