Pravin Patil College of Diploma Engineering and Technology, Thane was instituted in 2002 and is among the reputed colleges in Bhayandar East, Thane, Maharashtra. This affiliated college, approved by AICTE, has grown exponentially into a hub of technical talent in the last twenty years. The campus, spread over a compact 1.5 acres, currently has a range of engineering streams for 1,283 enrolled students. This institute has continuously maintained a very admirable ratio of students to teachers with its 18 dedicated faculty. 

Pravin Patil College of Diploma Engineering and Technology has many facilities oriented towards enhancing the standard of learning and the overall development of students in its fold. In addition to a well-equipped library serving as a knowledge hub, it has at its command many resources to help curricular needs and research activities. The institution is well-equipped with state-of-the-art IT infrastructure, and the students have access to the latest technologies in order to gain knowledge in their various courses. A gymnasium is available within the campus for the physically conscious student. Pravin Patil College of Diploma Engineering and Technology has a total of 12 courses with two degree levels. This includes six diploma and six B.Tech programmes, and all are full-time courses. Diploma programmes include Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering. At the B.Tech level, it has Computer Engineering, Electronics and Power Engineering, Electronics and Biomedical Engineering, Information Technology, Mechanical and Automation Engineering, and Civil Engineering and Planning. The approved intake of each B.Tech programme is 60, demonstrating the commitment of the institute towards optimal class sizes for effective learning. 

Admission Procedure: The admission procedure at Pravin Patil College of Diploma Engineering and Technology is carried out as per the norms and schedule declared by the Directorate of Technical Education and the Government of Maharashtra. All the candidates seeking admission to the diploma courses shall submit their online application form along with all necessary documents through Centralised Admission Process to the Facilitation Centre. The stipulated procedure will make the whole process of admission uniform, fair, and transparent.
