The infrastructure at KJSIT is practical but limited. Most academic activities take place in a single building, which makes common areas busy between lectures. Classrooms are tidy and functional along with smartboards in it. IT labs are available, but some computers struggle with newer tools and software. The library is quiet and useful for regular study. Campus Wi-Fi is available. The canteen maintains hygiene, but food options are few.

I am studying Information Technology because I want to apply it to real-world applications. As a TY student, Some professors explain concepts clearly and encourage questions, while others are more syllabus-driven. Teaching is mostly theory-oriented, so students need extra practice to gain confidence. Lab sessions are conducted regularly, but deeper practical exposure depends on self-study, projects, and online learning.Self effort is very important to crack good job.
Placements
Placements are very competitive. The placement cell is active and organizes aptitude training and mock interviews. Companies like TCS,WIPRO,Etc. mainly offer software and IT-related roles. Around 60-65% of students get placed depending on preparation. The average package is around ₹4 LPA, while higher package has gone to IT student of ₹13LPA. Internships, projects, and coding practice make a noticeable difference.

Campus life is quiet and simple. There is only one main building. There are 2 grounds to play and 1 turf. Major fests are limited, but student clubs and small activities keep things moving. The students are friendly, teachers are good, and the college location is safe and well connected.

My overall experience has been realistic. The college provides a basic structure for IT education, but growth depends on how much effort students put.

The college campus is not small, not too big. It is clean and filled with alot of greenery. The classrooms are big, well-ventilated, and equipped with projectors for visual learning. The laboratories are equipped with all the required tools and technologies. The sports area is nice but not big enough compared to the number of students. All the space is clean and well maintained, wifi is avilable, covering the whole campus. The canteen serves tasty, clean food.

I'm a third-year computer science and engineering student. The quality of teaching is fine. The teachers have very good knowledge of their respective subjects. The curriculum is fairly updated and contains the recent technologies.

The placements of last year's batch were ok, not too good. I don't know the percent of students placed but most of my senior friends got placed in good companies with one getting 19lpa The average salary was around 7.9 LPA, with around 10+ companies offering 15 LPA+. To sit in placements, the students must not have any active backlogs. the CGPA criteria depends on company to company but some even considers 12th marks for filtering

The campus life is fine if you find good friends to enjoy with. There is a college fest every year and a hostel fest, which are quite enjoyable. Most of the teachers are chill, but some should be avoided. the location of college is on a highway so there is no problem of any transport. Also, nearby area have some nice food stalls to hang out with friends

The campus is pretty decent — classrooms are clean, the library has the books we need, and there’s Wi-Fi most of the time. Computer labs are okay, not super fancy, but they work fine. Hostels are safe and comfortable enough, though the food is hit-or-miss!

Classes are easy to follow if you attend regularly. Teachers explain things clearly and help with doubts. We do assignments and presentations regularly, which actually helps understand things better. We still have to study on our own though lectures alone aren’t always enough.

Since I’m in 1st year, placements haven’t started yet, but the seniors say the placement cell does try to get companies for jobs and internships. It’s too early to say for sure, but there’s a vibe that if you work on skills, we can get chances later.

Campus life here is fun and friendly. There are cultural events, clubs and occasional college fests. Hanging out with friends after class, grabbing snacks, and chilling in the canteen makes college life enjoyable. It’s not super hectic, but it’s definitely not boring.

The infrastructre of my college is pretty good. The classes and the labs are clean and well maintained. The washrooms and the hallways are cleaned every other hour which makes them very hygenic. The lifts of the college could be better as they are slow and the capacity is pretty less. The wifi is pretty decent but we dont get proper wifi in classes which is inconvinient. The canteen is also hygenic which is a major plus point but the area where we eat , we call it the open canteen could be way better as it smells sometimes.

Placements in this College are average, around 60 to 70% is the placement ratio, and the packages depend on the individual merit of the students. For example, a 4th year CS student got placed in Google with 28 LPA, but that is a sole exception. The average packages will range anywhere around 3 to 10LPA.
