College Infrastructure
The building of my college was in a huge campus which had running grounds and it was very green. I especially liked the lab facilities of my college which had all the necessary equipments and was well equipped.
Academics
It was a government college at my time so the teachers were not supportive but they were amazing in teaching. It comes second only to ICT in Maharashtra for its chemical department. Traditional and technical oriented curriculum.
Placements
Placements were very good because we had alumni support because of this very good companies used to come like Asian paints, Mahindra, Honeywell etc. we had placement committee but there was biasness between chemical engineering and chemical technology batches.

Placement in decent after completing 5 years I have asked from my senior average placement is 4-5lpa and highest is 10lpa so placement is overall good but you should also woke on your skills aswell with college.

Yes, IIT Roorkee has smart classrooms, huge libraries, well-equipped labs, sports centres and hostels with central access wifi. The facilities are great and mostly well maintained. And our hostels are decent enough because our campus is one of the old compare to all iit’s. Mess food also decent.

I’m studying computer science and engineering because I’m interested in coding and problem solving. No need to worry or talk about teaching because they are excellent. The syllabus covers all the subjects related to software development with assigning projects, it prepares students well for the IT field/industry jobs

Placements at iit Roorkee is very strong. Around 80-90% students get placed every year. Highest package was in crore level, average package is around 15 lpa. And also our placement cell was very supportive.

IIT Roorkee is huge(~350 acres) and green with sports facilities and great labs, but the small problem is distances are long. The students and staff members are very friendly and supportive. The campus nature is peaceful and safe with medical and security services for emergencies.

The students competitive environment, rich legacy, and the diverse exposure helped me to grow academically and also socially. The placement here in college campus is decent I think 60-70 % of students are placed in my college and they can expect 8-9 lakh of average package with highest 25-35 lakh in campus placement process if easy and college is very supportive

College infrastructure is outdated. In the campus their is one hall they call as auditorium. In the auditorium most of the Air Conditioners are not in working condition. Bit WIFI is available in all the campus.

Academics are poor because the syllabus is boring for me. The syllabus is mostly theory based rather than practical based. Most of the teachers are not knowledgeable about the subject. They simply pass time in the college.

Lowest package offered by college is 5 lakh and highest package offered by college is 23 lakh only for two students. Most of the companies coming for final placement they give package around is 5 to 6 lakh only.

This is actually a good point about this college. they focus a lot on academics. they have good faculties. there are certain faculties who are really good in their teaching and concepts. they also keep having assignments projects etc all the time. so in terms of academics, they would indeed keep us busy and occupied.

the average is like 7-8 lakh here. in terms of roi it is good- as we are getting our mba done in under 12 lakhs. but yes placements are there. unlike colleges of these category, which doesn't have any placements- pibm does have good placements and consistent companies coming for placements.

campus life is okayish- I wish if we had in house hostel- that would have made the overall experience so much better. but we dont have it like that. its a small campus per se. we do have everything- but not the best standards. but yes construction is going on now and new buildings and hostels are being made inside campus. we can see a change in upcoming years. but for now the experience is average-good.

I have a background in BBA. The reason for choosing this degree is vast career opportunities. The quality of teaching is quite good classes go regularly in spite of few students come to class. But their syllabus is outdated.
