The University of Visva Bharati has a good and developed Infrastructure. The Santiniketan part is very modern and occupied. But the Sriniketan is semi urban. The connectivity in the campus is very good.
The education system is totally separate here. The Academic is followed as per the Tagore's thoughts. There are such places for studying. The Central Visva Bharati Library is very grand in size and stores more than a million books.
The placement of the Visva Bharati University is quite hesitating. But every year a lot of students get their placement from here. The placement cell also organise events and job fair for the students in the campus.
My college had all the necessary facilities, although the campus area was quite small. The classrooms and laboratories were well-maintained, with smart boards and a good number of computers in the computer lab. Everything was organized and in good condition. The college was also very clean, and the cleaning staff made sure the campus stayed tidy. Overall, it was a good experience.
I did BSc IT at this college. I’d rate the teaching around 5/10. Some teachers were helpful, but mostly it focused on memorizing things for exams rather than really understanding or thinking critically. The curriculum is outdated and needs improvement—most questions in exams come from past papers, so it doesn’t really teach modern skills. That said, if you work hard on your own, you can still get good results and even a job, like I did. Overall, the college gives a basic foundation, but you’ll need to put in extra effort for real learning and career preparation.
Placement at my college was not very good. Out of around 130 students in my course, only 30–40 got placed. The highest package was about 7 LPA, and the median was 2.8–3.5 LPA. Very few quality jobs were available. The placement cell head was supportive and helpful, but overall, students need to put in extra effort on their own to secure good jobs.
I didn’t enjoy the campus life very much. While there were basketball and volleyball courts, very few people used them. There were no hostels on campus, so we didn’t get the full experience of campus living. Extracurricular activities were limited, and with hectic class schedules, there was very little time to enjoy college life. On the positive side, the staff and teachers were very helpful, kind, and polite, which made the environment supportive. Overall, the campus life experience was limited, and I didn’t get to fully experience the social or recreational side of college.
The college has a great infrastructure, with a well-maintained campus and a variety of facilities. The classrooms are spacious and equipped with projectors and proper seating, and the labs have up-to-date systems and equipment for hands-on learning. The library is extensive, offering a large collection of books and online resources. There are also excellent sports facilities, including courts for various games and a gym.
I am currently studying Computer Science and Engineering. The quality of teaching is good, with most professors being knowledgeable and supportive. They often use real-world examples and encourage class discussions to make the material more engaging. I believe the curriculum is up-to-date and incorporates recent developments in the field. The courses provide a strong foundation in theory, and we are encouraged to work on practical projects and case studies. This focus on both theoretical and practical knowledge helps to make the curriculum relevant and prepares students to be job-ready after graduation.
The college's placement cell, in collaboration with faculty, conducts mock interviews, aptitude training, and resume workshops to prepare students for the job market. Students often become eligible for placements from the 7th semester. The training starts as early as the third year.
The campus life is vibrant and engaging. There are plenty of extracurricular activities, clubs, and fests that help students explore their interests beyond academics. The environment is friendly and inclusive, and students often participate in cultural and sports events. The teachers and staff are approachable and supportive, always willing to guide us when needed. The campus is well-maintained, with good facilities like a library, cafeteria, and sports ground. The location is safe, and the management handles emergencies efficiently. Overall, it’s a good place to learn and grow.
The campus looks modern classrooms have smat boards and labs are fully functional with new ios updated systems for ios students of b.tech cse student The library is good sometimes the wifi dosen't work properly hostels are great.
Teachers are very approachable and explain topics in detail the syllabus includes practical exposure with projects and real world examples the ai & ml specializations feels very industry focuses as well
The placement cell is supportive and conducts training sessions for interviews and aptitude Manu reputed startups and few big firms visit. Average package are decent and student gain solid experience it's also is in it's upgrading phase as well
Campus life is lively and fun with cultural fest, clubs and sport events You can easily meet like minded people and participated in various activities you can also join clubs and socities which will be surely a fun as well as give you some learning in your life
The campus is well maintained with modern classrooms, labs, washrooms libraries and other things and common areas are spacious. Overall the facilities are good for academic and project work a new building is also going to complete in upcoming futures
The faculty is supportive and approachable the syllabus is mix of theory and practical projects but some subjects feels very tough to us some faculty are too good but some are like just teach and go overall the learning is effective and relevant to industry
Placements ar enot too good not too bad it's decent while we have ibm collaboration in our course also companies come for select courses, startups and mid level firms hire regularly . Training and interview mock help in placment here
The campus is too goos it has environment freindly area,it's safe guards are everywhere and helps in personal growth the campus is vibrant with fests, clubs, and student activities.Clubs and socities make it more fun and cool because it's the most ineresting thing you can do
The infrastructure is good. The labs are well equipped and classes are also good. There are plenty of sports like football ground, badminton, pickle ball etc. There are good cafeteria and wending machines are also near the classroom.
Academics is a not bad up to Mark which I thought. Teachers are well qualified they are there to help us. The curriculum is apt and there are new subject also added according to the industry demand .
The placements are average as of now which I know the placements are mostly in the CS branch but the average package is around 6 lpa only that too comes from MBA which I have heard . Companies visit to the campus but placements are not that good .
Campus life is good there is not so much stress of studies students to play games and enjoy themselves in the campus as there are alot of things to do. The student teacher relationship is also good the location is good as all colleges are nearby and it's a whole young crowd .
While the camus is good, some labs feel outdated wifi can be slow at times and in campus they have limited seats only no sitting places except than in 2-3 cafes like box cafe chai sutta and other cafes
Faculty is helpful but the teaching pace is inconsistent some course feel theoretical with less practical exposure and the syllabus could be more alignes with courrent industry trend it can be more developed
Placement support is limited for certainn streams only a few reputed companies visit and average package is below our expectations Student more rely on internships rather than better exposure so placements are not too good here
Campus has some clubs, socities and events happens at regular basis but participation feels low and many student focus solely on studies social life could be more vibrant and facilities for recreation are limited
The college has a good mix of modern and calm vibes. LAbs are well equipped and the library stays open till during exams days and student lounges cafes are great spot to relac hostel rooms are okay but it can be more improved
Professors are great they are available for us everytime they all are supportive and had a grwat experience of their respective subjects classes are interactive with great learning and visuals but sometimes it become too hectic for uss
Placement cell is active and helps student with mock interviews LInkedin Building and aptitude sessions COmpanies like infosys, TCS and startups visit the camous Average packages are okay but top performes get that offer
Campus life is besttt....events like TEDx, music and cultural events , fests, webinar, hackathons make it fun.Student are cooperative seniors are the bestt and faculty also join in the actiivites weekends are usually chill
Nice infrastructure and good facilities . It has a canteen but the food is not to my taste , a library with lot of books , PCs and AC but lack of seats , a attirum to sit and play badminton but not a proper auditorium. There are wifis available but most of the time are out of internet, even phone's own internet doesnt work properly , very bad network .
Good academics .I am a student of B.Sc maths hons 1st year .My classes started just after the orientation day . Teachers are quite nice , they explain things very well , even clears doubts . I m not sure that this study makes me job-ready but i guess if i focus on my studies and skills more, i m sure i will make it .
I just started my Math Hons at ARSD, so I can’t say much yet. But from what I’ve heard, around 60–80% of students get placed. The average salary is about ₹5–6 LPA, and top companies like KPMG and Deloitte hire from here.
I personally dont like the campus life as an introvert . I m not able to make a friend group , so I just take classes and come back home . I guess its a great campus if u have a friend group . There is a big ground to hang out , open area to walk , canteen to eat together , etc.
The campus is quite spacious with greenery everywhere labs and computer rooms are updated with ios collaborations sometimes wifi disconnects in certain blocks the classrooms are air conditioned and spcaious
The academic environmetn is motivation faculty members are well qualified and approachable but some subjects feel rushed near exam time the university conduts guest lectures from industry ecperts which add great insights
Placements are decent for student who actively participate in workshops and internships big companies come rarely average package is less not acceptable but it's in it upgrading phase so it might be upgrade in future
Campus life is pretty energetic lots of events clubs and inter college competitions hackathons webinars students enjoy all these things you can join in club event dancing event singing event as well you'll never feel bored here
The infrastructure is decent overall.classrooms have projector, and the labs are decent, though sometimes system lag during high usage. The campus is clean and green with proper areas for group discussion and breaks.
Teaching quality is fine, but it depends a lot on which faculty you get. some profs explain concept deeply while other moves fast The syllabus is updated and theres a fair balance between theory and practical learning.
Placement opportunities are decent in management and AI students, but still developing for other branches. The placement team helps in resume building and mock interviews, but students need to be proactive to get better results
Campus life is not good, although there is clubs ,sports and cultural events regularly but they are not that good.campus life in IILM is more on chill side
Infrastructure is all good. The new batch of B.Tech 1st year have been shifted to a fully furnished building. Library provides books to all students which are issued for 15 days. A good cafeteria area has also been provided which is functionable throughout the day.
All the teachers are Good. Faculty members are all very helpful to all the students. I am currently pursuing BTech cse in DS. I am in my 1st sem all the teachers are providing assignments and extra questions along with the notes on time.
The placement quality has been average. I will have to know about the placement quality from seniors. Highest packages have been gone upto 1Cr+ from cse sector only. The good placement students banner have been displayed in the college in order to motivate others.
The college has a beautiful campus with greenery and well maintained buildings hostels are decent campus area is good library can be updated more it's too small to study more charging points and working wifi must be installed their
The course is well maintained is well designes with focus on new technologies Faculty members are very polite and helpful to us everytime they are available for us and clear our doubts some subjects are tough but teachers guide properly through extra sessions and lab support
Placements are improving each year Many students get internships in good startups Core companies are still limited in BCA i don't think bca course has a good placement the overall college placement is not too good but form this year it's changing everything
For me campus life would be the most best thing that i will remember enjoying with freinds from one point of college to other going to cafes playing games studying together will be the most fun part of college life
The university looks impressive from the moment when you enter the campus buildings are new and classrooms are bright with digital setups Labs are hood have good systems and central library is peaceful
The learning part is quite balanced Teachers genuinely try to connect theory with practical examples regular assignments and presentations help in understanding topics better The university oftern invites experts for guest sessions
Campus placements are growing every year Many studetn from B.tech,BBA and law get placed in known companies The placement team is supportive and arrange mock tests and interview practice before drives
Life here is lively and interactive with a lots of fun There's always something happening fests, sports, tech events or club activities You'll find students from different states which make the enviroment friendly and full of energy

Though the temporary setup limits some amenities, the institute continues improving resources for a better academic environment.
