Sri Mahavir Prasad Mahila Mahavidyalaya, Lucknow Admission Process

Sri Mahavir Prasad Mahila Mahavidyalaya, situated in Lucknow, is a premier women's educational institution whose main aim is to empower female candidates through education of the highest quality. The institution was established in 2004 and offers a variety of undergraduate and postgraduate programs. 

The admission process at Sri Mahavir Prasad Mahila Mahavidyalaya is so sensitively structured as to select those most deserving to earn a seat in the college in conformity with the policy and procedures of the state government, UT administration, and that of the affiliated university.

Being merit-based predominately, admission is offered for most courses. In the case of D.El.Ed, B.Ed, and M.Ed courses, admission shall be based on the marks secured in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examinations to ensure a transparent and competitive selection into the institutions, once again propelling the parameters for academic excellence.

Application Process

Degree wise Admission Process

B.Ed: For the program of B.Ed at Sri Mahavir Prasad Mahila Mahavidyalaya, an intake of 100 seats has been sanctioned. Basis for admission shall be generated based upon merit wherein the marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination would be taken into account. The selection process would follow the policies set forth by the state government, UT administration, and the affiliated university.

M.Ed: The admission procedure for M.Ed has no changes from that of B.Ed, where a total of 50 seats are allocated. Likewise, selection procedures vary per the performance of the qualifying examination, entrance examination, or other processes according to relevant policies applicable to the state government, university, or UT administration.

D.El.Ed: There are 50 seats in the D.El.Ed program. Admission is granted on merit, deriving from the marks secured in qualifying and/or entrance examinations. The selection procedure itself guides by the policies of state government or UT administrations.

BA, B.Coms, and B.El.eds: These particular undergraduate programs do not specify how admissions to each program would take place, but they seem to follow the same merit-based system that lines up with the overall college admission policy. 

MA Education: Its admission process is not distinctly defined but is probably also merit-based, given the pattern of other postgraduate courses of the institution.
