Dear Student,

The examination pattern will be divided in to three main sections like Physics , Chemistry and Biology. Total numbers of questions is 180. Total marks for this examination is as usual 720. CBSE has decided to reduce the syllabus from class 11 to 12. And it may have an impact on the syllabus of NEET 2021. But this ongoing COVID - 19 situation the decision is pending still now. On July 7, the central Board of Secondary Education announced a reduction in syllabus for class 11 and 12 , approxmately 30 %.

  1. Physics Syllabus:
  • Class 11: Physical world and measurement, Kinematics, Laws of Motion Work, Energy and Power, Motion and systems of particles and Rigid Body, Gravitation, Properties of Bulk Matter, Thermodynamics, Behaviour of Perfect Gas and Kinetic Theory, Oscillations and Waves.
  • Class 12: Electrostatics, Current Electricity, Magnetic Effects of current and Magnetism, Electromagnetic Waves, Optics, Dual Nature of matter and radiation, Atoms and Nuclei and Electronic Devices.

2. Chemistry:

  • Class 11: Some basic concepts of chemistry, Structure of Atom, Classification of Elements and Periodicity in Properties, Chemical Bonding and Moleculer structure, States of matter, Gases and liquids , Thermodynamics, Equilibrium, Redox Reactions, Hydrozen, S and P block elements, Organic Chemistry, Basic Principles and Techniqes , Hydrocarbons, Environmental Chemistry.
  • Class 12: Solis state solutions, Electrochemistry, Chemical Kinetics, surface Chemistry, General principles and processes of isolation of Elements, F and  D-block elements, Coordination Compounds , Haloalkenes and Haloarenes, Aldehydes, Ketones and Carboxylic Acids, Organic Compounds Containing Nitrogen, Biomolecules, Polymers and Chemistry in Everyday life.

3. Biology:

  • Class 11: Diversity in living worlds, Structural Organisation in Animals and Plants , Cell Structure and function, Plant Physiology and Human Physiology.
  • Class 12: Reproduction, Genetics and Evolution, Biology and Human Welfare, Biotechnology and its applications and ecology and environment.
