Acharya Nagarjuna University, Ongole Campus, has a decent infrastructure with spacious classrooms and basic lab facilities. The library has a good collection of books, but digital resources are limited. The campus is clean, but some areas need better maintenance. Hostel facilities are average, with scope for improvement in food quality.
The academic environment is moderate, with experienced faculty in some departments. The curriculum is standard, but practical exposure is limited. Teaching methods are mostly theoretical, so students who take extra effort in self-learning and projects benefit the most. Industry exposure and research opportunities could be improved.
Placements are not very strong, with limited opportunities for core branches. IT and management students have better chances, but most placements come from mass recruiters with average packages. Students often need to seek off-campus opportunities for better jobs. Internships are available, but securing a good one requires personal effort.
The university has affordable fees, making it a budget-friendly option. However, students need to be proactive in skill development to make the most of their education. The return on investment depends on individual efforts in academics and extracurricular activities.
Campus life is decent, with occasional events and student activities. The environment is more academic-focused, with fewer cultural or technical fests compared to larger universities. The student crowd is diverse, and the atmosphere is peaceful, making it suitable for focused learning.
Overall a good college from my opinion
