First of all Congratulations for cracking the AIIMS entrance examination.
You have two options in your hand, either "All India institute of medical sciences, Hrishikesh" and "KJMU, Lucknow".
I would suggest you to opt for All India institute of medical sciences, Hrishikesh. Because it is an institution of national importance.
It is a public university which runs by central government of India.
It is a very good College for Medical education.
AIIMS Hrishikesh is better than KJMU Lucknow in aspects of Faculties, Campus life, infrastructure, hostel facility, library, laboratory etc.
Best of luck.

According to the results after 1st and 2nd round of counselling in AIIMS MBBS 2018, AIR 5455 (SC‐113) and AIR 10471 (SC‐203) were the last rank for AIIMS Rishikesh in respective rounds.
And for this year, the AIR 6947 (SC-109) is the last rank for the same AIIMS which highly indicates that you may have great chance to get into the same in the 2nd round. In addition to that, your AIR 9693 as mentioned in notice of Announcement of First Round of Online Seat Allocation / Counselling
for MBBS 2019 Course also supports the predictment.
Hope this helps you.
Faculty wise both the institute have elite professor so there is no such comparison over here. For department wise AIIMS Rishikesh is much more established but in terms of campus AIIMS Raipur is having a lead.
AIIMS Raipur is situated in the city part of Raipur so you may stay connected to city while in Rishikesh you would feel the nature and it's beauty but lacks you a planning for city consideration thoughts. Even in terms of freedom Raipur is strict but considerate.
So if you are a fun loving person who's calm and loves environment Rishikesh is for you .
Well I would suggest you to go for Aiims Rapiur as it is one of the best college when aiims in considered keeping facilities, infrastructure, faculty everything in mind.. Well if you still want aiims rishikesh I guess you will get it if you have got aiims raipur as rank of aiims raipur is better than rishikesh.. Good luck..
Hi Black paradox,
If you don't have any problem in studying both the courses then I will like to suggest you to take general surgery at RIMS Imphal.
The field of surgery is very difficult but at the same time requires one's full dedication and will eventually give you better benefits in return.
Further after general surgery you can go for M.Ch in other specialisation like cardiac surgery or neurosurgery or nephrology.
The main point is that surgery will be much more intense and rigorous that medicine but will benefit you more as well in developing your brain and critical activity enhancement.
I hope this information helps.
All the best!
