BA LLB (Hons) from 2017. The Integrated BA LLB (Hons) program offered by the School of Law at Bennett as per regulations of the Bar Council of India will lead to a professional Law degree with a seamless integration of Business Administration as the first degree. However, the first degree will not be awarded separately and one has to complete the integrated course for the combined degrees. The first degree under the integrated program will have 14 non-law papers. The first degree covers the major domains of the Legal History, Political Science, Sociology, Legal Economics, English and the Law courses beginning right from first semester covers 20 compulsory papers, 4 clinic papers, 6 optional papers and 8 papers of specialisation. The curriculum of the Law papers at Bennett has been designed to incorporate emerging areas of Artificial Intelligence & Law, Entertainment Law, Advanced Intellectual Property Law, Internet Law & Governance, Privacy Law and other laws. The BA LLB (Hons) program will aid the learners to become accomplished professionals understanding the interface of Law and Society and will build the requisite capacity, in litigation and in house counsel. Bennett has entered into an academic partnership with the Cornell Law School for intensive exchange of best practices, mutual visit of professors and also a scheme for an immersion program at Cornell for Bennett students. The law school will formalise further student exchange programs in Europe, US, Canada, China, Japan and Singapore in the coming semesters allowing a global exposure for the students.
The Bennett University Admission Scholarships will be awarded only for the first year of Undergraduate program. The decision for this scholarship is based on the scores of the candidate in qualifying examinations i.e.10+2 score or CLAT scores or LSAT - India) percentile score.
