72 MonthsThe Ph.D. program in Education shall be for a minimum duration of three years, including coursework, and a maximum of six years. Extension beyond the above limits will be governed by the relevant clauses as stipulated in the Statute/Ordinance of the individual Institution concerned, course offered by the Bhagwant Global University, Kotdwar.
Eligibility Criteria
- The candidate holding a Master’s degree or equivalent in the concerned field with 55% or equivalent grade will be considered eligible for registration for the Degree of Doctor of Philosophy in the relevant Program. Registration of Ph.D. for interdisciplinary specializations wherein a candidate has done PG in one specialization and intends to pursue a Ph.D. from some other specialization may be permitted in special cases after recommendation by the Doctoral Research Committee and approval of the Vice-Chancellor. Notwithstanding anything contained above, the VC may make relaxation in the above criteria in an individual case based on the genuineness and the merit of the case, in terms of the requirement of percentage of marks.
