Kumaun University Nainital placement cell enhances employability through the training and placement cell. According to the NIRF 2026, 295 UG students and 292 PG students were offered Kumaun University placements 2025.

According to NIRF 2026, there are a total of 275 students from undergraduate 3-year programme, who got placement with a Kumaun University median package of Rs 1.50 LPA.
A total of 253 students from postgraduate 2-year programme got placement with a median average package of Rs 2 LPA at Kumaun University.
During placements 2025 at Kumaun University, 20 UG 4 year students were placed with median package of Rs 2 LPA.

Placement is not good here you have to search for jobs from office campus most of the time. You have to search for jobs mainly outside of the campus and in this field my college lacks because not many companies come here for placement of students. The percentage of getting placement in this college is low. The highest package student got from this college is of 750000 per annum

The college provides good placement opportunities for every student. But, the first duty of every student is to be active at all the notices regarding placement drives. But only a few finance companies visited the college to offer placements.
