SGRRU Admission Procedure (Other than MBBS & MD/MS)
Candidates are advised to verify their own SGRRU UG course eligibility carefully before applying for registration.
The SGRRU UG registration fee will not be refunded if a candidate is found ineligible for the course.
All information filled in the SGRRU UG registration form must be correct.
Registration forms for admission duly filled in should reach the office of the Institute/College on or before the date mentioned in the admission notice/form.
Aspirants must note that the selection of candidates at Shri Guru Ram Rai University, Dehradun is done only on the basis of the entrance test conducted by the College.
SGRRU Admission Procedure For MBBS
The MBBS admission at SGRRU will be granted through NEET UG.
Aspirants have to register and appear for NEET UG.
Based on qualification, admission will be granted through AIQ and State NEET UG Counselling process.

Academics
Academically, SGRRU perform well across commerce, management, education and science. Most faculty members are qualified, approachable and encourage practical learning along with theory. The curriculum is regularly updated.
College Infra
The university has a decent and well-maintained campus with modern classrooms, computer labs, seminar halls and a Central library. Science and medical departments have well-equipped labs. However, a few areas like hostel maintenance and some older blocks still needs improvement.
Placements
The placement of this university is decent but vary depending on the course. For MBA, BBA and M.com, companies like TCS, Wipro, HDFC and Accenture visits the campus with average packages around 3-4 LPA and highest crossing 30 LPA in rare cases.

M.Sc Agronomy - Batch of 2018-01-01
Academics
Msc agronomy syllabus is ICAR-aligned and includes advanced modules like crop physiology, soil fertility, water management, precision farming, with regular seminars, guest lectures, case studies, group projects, and workshops .
College Infra
College is good and better quality infrastructure, and strong academic and research support also it has practical learning is reinforced through internships and real-life research assignments that strengthen critical thinking and analytical skills
Placements
Placement is by far as MSc Agronomy is limited, overall M.Sc. programs at SGRRU report 55% placement with exposure to research roles, agribusinesses, NGOs, government, and consultancy sectors and helps.

Academics
The faculty is experienced and supportive and the university offers a good academic structure with experienced faculty, but the curriculum could be more industry-oriented. More hands-on learning and practical exposure would benefit students.
College Infra
It has a spacious campus with well-maintained classrooms, laboratories, hostels and libraries are well-stocked, providing a comfortable and decent learning environment for the students. Also the presence of green spaces adds to the aesthetic appeal.
Campus Life
The vibrant campus life includes various cultural, sports, and extracurricular activities. The greenery around the university creates a peaceful and refreshing environment, enhancing the overall student experience.
Placements
Not great during my batch but current batches are getting good offers. Placement opportunities are quite limited, with only a few companies offering decent packages most students have to search for jobs on their own.
Value For Money
With affordable fees and improving placements, the university is becoming a better investment. However, students still need to take initiative in gaining internships and industry experience to maximize their opportunities.
